They say the PS3 hasn't yet been pushed to its limits- so what needs to be done to push it there? Until that happens, I don't want a PS4, a PS5, another Vita update. I want to know what this being pushed to the limits means. Give me a game that can be enjoyably played on this machine, not some machine for the next ten years. I got it, it's all about money, but I don't really play online and it seems the current norm is just releasing games from prior systems anyway- Prince of Persia, Silent Hill, Zone of the Enders, Metal Gear, Resident Evil; so why even get something new when you're still playing old games anyway?! Oh and I understand if you probably never played the first time it was released, but then they're released again- then again and again. God of War, Metal Gear, Ninja Gaiden.

Push my PS3 to the limit with a remake of Metal Gear for the NES or Metal Gear Solid for the PSOne since nothing new can push it's limits and they wanna jump to the PS4...

NBA Live 10 was a great basketball sim. It's better than 2K12; why doesn't EA just update the roster and jerseys and re-release it?! They did the same thing to Madden each year until releasing the garbage of 13...

I am just so tired of 2K. It hasn't been that good since 2007.

It's amazing how EA Sports literally just conducted a survey without actually asking questions. In fact, they conducted this survey and made millions of dollars! They removed the ability to draft out your classes in NCAA 13 and people lost their minds... In Madden you've lost the ability to have a Fantasy Draft and of course import those said draft classes; result- people have lost their minds.

With that, EA now sees what to take out and what to add for the 2014 editions. Then, in some crazy marketing ploy, EA will advertise 'ALL NEW' game modes by export/import and Fantasy Draft...

So basically I've already played NCAA and Madden 14 demos... Thanks EA. 'Preciate you!

[QUOTE="butterlou"]It's not as bad- IT'S WORSE! I agree with Adema. Mike Wallace is a sprinter. He has Olympic speed but ANY DB can keep up with him as he streaks down the field? Really? C'mon... This is what they were supposed to fix, and Connected Careers is supposed to exploit that. They exploited my wallet and ruined my remaining 2012 and upcoming 2013 video football season. I would be upset at certain things Madden had going on over the years but it wasn't enough to take away the football experience cause everything was basically unchanged just updated rosters. In fact, 2008 or 2009 when they included QB vision was like the BEST Madden there was to date. This mess they shelled out is a circus minus the elephant.Quirion_Xenosen

I seriously don't know what game you're playing lol. Anyways, keep raging in the forums :P

You've got to enlighten me on how you like and why you like this game!

After reading your review and a few of the comments on this threads, it's useless. People like you and the one above won't get out of the "it's garbage! it's garbage!" mindset no matter what reasons are presented to them so, it's kind of useless to tell you why I like the game and what I think needs work.

That seems pretty shallow. See in contrast to what you think, I was VERY satisfied with Madden over the years. If you like Madden 13, then to each his own, but for me and the above we agree- this year just doesn't cut it. In years past my only gripe would be that LBs and DBs just do not cover in real life as well as they do in the video game- HOWEVER it's a video game. There is no reason to believe that it's realistic. With this, I accepted Madden and couldn't see the rants and raves of others. This version of Madden, however takes away the most enjoyable parts of Madden that even with those complaints made people sit and play. I have a very open mind and I'm not looking to disrespect, so please understand my viewpoint as all I was doing was asking of yours.

I do, it has its flaws, it has its dropped balls, it has stuff that they certainly screwed up with, I'm not denying that. But for example, they fixed most of the ridiculous interceptions that happened in other games, they fixed a lot of the gameplay issues that were present before, the game feels smoother (at least in my opinion) and the features added in the connected careers are awesome. Could they have done better? Absolutely, there was no reason to remove the Fantasy Draft from Franchise Mode, or editting the players, but does that REALLY makes it deserve a grade of 1? of 3? even of 5? Really? Definitively not. As I said on my review, this Madden game deserves at least a 7, because it's not an attrocity, they dropped the ball, completely agree, but calling it garbage is taking it to the extremes and let your anger take over. I hope you uderstand my point.

Yes, I do, and if you saw my review you see I gave it a 6.5. HOWEVER, with that being said is this- the PS3 is nearly 6 years old. Madden has been going since 1999 and they JUST NOW want to tweak something like this? This is why I say it's garbage because EA has had plenty of time to put together a much better product than this- especially with the fan base. This year's Madden is something I expect of NBA Live 13; players have to get used to Live again after a 2/3 year lay off. Not with Madden though. As I see it, they created all these modes and saw time running short and released unfinished products both on NCAA and Madden 13. I can't help but be upset. They taking my money and I am showing my loyalty to them for a guaranteed $120/per year (at least) and they bail on us like this? How can you have a Connected Career for a rookie receiver that never existed...? The focus this year was clearly for online play of current teams. Even proved it by the survey they conducted today. Then if I play offline I have to work 5x as hard to get just 1 XP means there will never be a thing such as a breakout player; and there's one every year. There's potential but for where we are in technology and the run of this title- you have to see why I say this is garbage.
