[QUOTE="bunnyman14"]Killswitch...anyone, anyone? I'm pretty sure it was one of first games to use a cover system, if not the first. Witchsight

Well the earliest one i can think of was Cabal on Nes.... you could combat roll too! And cover was destructable.... but it definatly wasnt pretty.

That's pretty neat; it's great to see innovation that dates back to the NES.

It's fake, it's footage from a canned PS3 game called Redwood Falls. http://www.gamezine.co.uk/news/formats/xbox360/rumour-leaked-alan-wake-footage-%5Bupdate%5D-$1264398.htm LeePearce
Wow, I'm not too surprised; it didn't look very polished. The flashlight and forest made me think of Alan Wake.

Killswitch...anyone, anyone? I'm pretty sure it was one of first games to use a cover system, if not the first. It was excellent too. I like Mass Effect because there's very little delay between cover and shooting, unlike GTA IV.

Awesome, thanks. What's the deal with the FPS though? I like it better before.

I don't know dude; buy a racing game. Ridge Racer 6 is all about drifting, you slow down...drift, you brake...drift, and if you turn slightly...drift.

Voice acting sucks sooooooooooooo much that it doesn't matter how good anything else is.FamiBox
I play demo every once in awhile for a quick laugh. I once heard the protagonist do a mother-in-law joke, I laughed.

I want Zelda. I'd even take Ocarina of Time with the dated graphics and all; my N64 controller has broken analog stick. Zelda would be cool too. Oh yeah I forgot, Zelda.

Actually, it's a notebook, the "Halo Bible" to be more specific. It's about five pages worth of writing from Joseph Staten and staff. Each time they make a game Joseph randomly picks a page, rips it to bits, tries to rearrange it, tosses the pieces that don't fit, and uses the remains to establish a plot.

I'm not getting it; the market is flooded with FPS's. I have The Orange Box, Mirror's Edge, Bioshock, FarCry 2, and Halo 3; I think I'm covered. I also don't scare easily; it's not because I have nerves of steel, but because I can usually predict "scary" moments. I played the demo and thought it was a decent enough game. I even got scared once; I heard this crackly-step sound to my right, look over and -AHHH!- scary-thin woman in my face.
