It's in my sig but I just passed the 15k cap this past weekend when I went on a sorta gaming marathon and play some games I'd bought but hadn't gotten to play yet.

I think I more like the idea of special Avavtar items for reaching certain gamerscores, or being able to transfer to MS Points (although not to big on this idea either as I like my number below my name :P).
I have one of these controllers and IMO, unless you really love racing games and that's pretty much all that you play, then you will get tired of dragging this thing out for every gaming session. We used ours pretty much daily for the first month or so then it just became a burden. Also unless you have a wall outlet near by then you have no force feedback which is really the only good thing about using this wheel. Without that then you really don't have a sense of the car or the road. Again this is just my opinion.
HDMI, althought when I first got my xbox I used the component cables that came with it., because that model didn't have the HDMI port.
I haven't had this happen to my MW2 disk but I have had it happen to a copy of Forza 2 and now my Forza 3 is developing one as well. I just got my new Slims last week though so I'm installing any games that ever had a problem like that.
If you can get the trade in offer at Gamestop then the difference between buying a new 250gb hdd and the Slim is only like 70, so I'd just go for the Slim if it was me.
I just got my two preordered Xbox 360 Slims today at Gamestop. I took advantage of the trade in deal and traded in 4 360s along with 2 20gb hdd and a 120gb hdd. All in all I only had to pay about 145 difference on both, so not to bad.
If it is the official Microsoft cable it doesn't matter where you bought it because like posted above the new Slim has the software built it. I'm thinking the 3rd party cable messed something up with your hdd, BUT that's just a guess. Good luck, and I would do what someone else has said and just use a flash drive to copy the stuff off your old hdd using an older 360.

Ok I just called my local GS and they said the trade in offer is still valid. They just took it down from the website, I guess their pre-orders are filled up. Then I ask the guy when is the last day for the offer. He told me July 11th, but I'm not too confident in his answer but that's what he said. I will trading in my stuff on July 8 or 9 just to make sure.

The last day is July 11th. I printed out the deal and thats what it says.
I printed out the ad on 6/25/2010 at 10:51 AM and it says 7/18/10 is when it expires.
