Ok not being mean but if you would have read any post then you would know I have switched inputs, cables, and even xbox's. This is not an isolated issue. After I posted my question on here I went to my good friend google and this is a very common occurance with Transformers being the movie that it happens to most on. My TV displays the movie and I can watch the entire thing so it is not a HDCP problem with my TV, if it was then it would take me to a screen with the XBox logo telling me so. Mine however will cut out the video for a second or so, show the HDCP error messages and then pic the video back up without skipping a beat like the movie never stopped played just it stopped showing.

Some people believe that it could be fixed with an update that will never be released now as the PS3 did the same hting upon initial release because the PS3 HDCP handshake would time out before the TV's could verify. This seems to be the case for me. Also to further incapacitate your beliefs that it is my TV or HDMI I use the same brand with my PS3 and have never encountered any errors while watching Blu-Rays.

Best feature I'm seeing so far of HD DVD is the in movie menu screens which I love. I've not seen it on Blu-Ray and don't know if it does it as well. Also on my issue, I just tried swapping cables and inputs and that doesn't help either, still riding on that it is just a Paramount error.

The PS3 never gives any errors. Also it's a Sony Bravia LCD, but even in the thread I've read saying it was the TV most of those were the older first generation ones and mine is maybe a year old. So I don't think it's that. If you could try and duplicate it on yours that would be great.

See this is why I'm more into the idea of it just being Paramount, which doesn't make either of the movies you said. If that's the case then that kinda sucks, but I'll order some more HD DVD's from other studios to confirm this.

Actually you can on Amazon all the time. Really cheap, most dont go over like $3 when the DVD version of it is still $19.99. I see this as much more economical.

Ok so I just got one of these off of Amazon for like $25 shipped so I could play around and get some cheap movies. Now I played a regular DVD in it when I first got it and that played perfectly fine for about 2 hours. Then I swapped in the HD DVD Transformers movie I got with it and now every couple minutes I'm getting a "Secure HDCP link lost" messages then it will restore it the next few seconds. Really annoying when trying to watch a movie. Also I just got this to play around with, I have the PS3 for Blu-Ray so don't turn this thread into a flame war.

P.S. I do not have this issue with games and I'm using a HDMI connection. I've read elsewhere that this only seems to happen with Paramount Movies and if you use Component it solves the problem. I don't feel like that is a viable solution for a problem with just one type of movies.

Well if your looking to get the most money out of it as possible then Craigslist is the best place. Gamestop will give you like 40 just on the Xbox and hardly anything for your games.

Clearing the cache should have nothing to do with your video resolution settings let alone switch it to a different type of connection entirely......
