It took me around 20-25 hours to complete, but with all the secret reports at the end you could double your play time.

I'd like to nominate Aberinkulas for a series of mature, well thought-out and well written reviews:

MetalGear_Ninty

I whole-heartedly second this nomination and would like to go ahead and nominate myself for a written review emblem as well. Thanks.

HTP: Great -- thanks a lot. I'll check out some user reviews elsewhere, I guess. Thanks again ;).

I've been back and forth over whether or not to get a PSP and ultimately, I think, I've decided on getting one. I would prefer purchasing a new one (though I guess a used one isn't completely out of the question), and especially after reading IGN's review and hearing complaints of the PSP 3000 screen issues, I'm leaning toward the 2000 model. Unfortunately, the bundle I really want -- the Daxter bundle -- has gotten quite pricey...but whatever.

So, if you have a PSP 3000 or have had some extended use of one, do you really think the screen issue is that bad? Is it bad enough to warrant just getting a PSP 2000 instead?

Thanks for your help.

I expected Nintendo to be more receptive to the hardcore fanbase that kept it afloat during the GameCube years instead got shafted.

I thought the story sucked but the gameplay was fun for a while. The job system was engaging enough and stuff like the bazaar was cool, but after a while I just got really tired of the battle system. There were plenty of long-term rewards, like new jobs, but not enough short term goals to really get me through the game.

You will be lucky if you get an unbiased answer because there are more PS3 fans on Gamespot than 360 fans.LoseEagles1245
Bias = opinion, and he's asking for people's opinions. Nice try, though.

And I say go with the PS3. I own all three consoles this generation and the PS3 by far gets the most play-time.

No idea what number we're on, but it's Aber's fault, not mine :D.

"If you're not living life on the edge, then you're taking up too much space." Personal favorite of mine.

@ waZelda: Personable = likeable

And I've not been here long enough to have any opinion regarding this.

I want to buy a PS3 RPG and am deciding between Eternal Sonata and Elder Scrolls IV. I've heard great things about both, but at this point am leaning toward Eternal Sonata because it's shorter, more linear, and easier -- all of which are good things given my very limited time to play video games.

Anyway, any advice? Is one game obviously better than the other? I know they're very different RPGs, but...still, your thoughts are appreciated.
