@SteelPenguin90 @blaze_boy30 I'm afraid I can't give an accurate account of how long those batteries last. I"ve had the batteries for about two years so far. I haven't seen any significant change in my play time with my Wii remotes, if that helps.

@SteelPenguin90 While I have no qualms with your preferred console or PC, allow me to clear up some points if you don't mind:

-PS3 controllers DO have batteries. I just wish the PS3 controllers had battery hatches. The batteries of the PS3 controller will die some day (so far only one died on me). At that point I can either: a) buy a new controller or b) keep the controller plugged into a USB port. I used to have a wireless 360 controller and I used them with Sanyoo eneloop low-self discharge AA batteries. Those batteries have worked wonders for me. Nowadays I use them for my Wii Remotes.

- The Xbox 360 wireless adapters are for PCs only. 360 Wireless controllers will be detected by the 360. If you wanted to use a PS3 controller on PC, you would need a bluetooth adapter (built-in or USB dongle).

- (This one is an opinion, feel free to disagree if you wish.) The current Playstation Store interface is a major improvement from its predecessor (It also reminds me a lot about the XBL marketplace. It might just be looking into it too much). After using both interfaces, I think XBL's interface is still superior. However, I've been on PSN more because it allows me to play online for free.

@Colekern @BuBsay Realistically speaking, do you really want to move more than 2 mph when you're firing a gun? I mean, if you can choose a target (at any range the gun will allow), adjust for wind and gravity while sprinting, more power to you. I've never fired a gun or been in a shootout before, but I'd like to believe soldiers are much more cautious (being stationary, taking cover, etc.) on the battlefield than the "run and gun until you die" seen in CoD since they've only got one life.

Hey if violent video games are getting scrutinized, let bring in ALL forms of violent media in. How about TV shows, movies, the news? Those other forms of violent media that end up on our "50 inch screen TVs"? Don't even get me started on real world violence.

I think video games are being used as a scapegoat because the U.S. government does not want to delve any deeper into why the Sandy Hook attacks happened. Furthermore, I do not think they wholeheartedly want answer the question(s) of violence in our society. If they did that, they'd have to end up answering for all the various forms of violence they have committed and/or condoned at home and abroad. Putting media aside, we live in a world where brutal acts of violence can be hand-waved because they were caused to protect certain interests (those countries know who they are). Innocent people suffer and die in this world because their deaths are merely a means to an end. Where is the vehement resistance for this? I wonder what the Connecticut governor thinks about that?

Interesting. I never knew RE4 was such a big turning point for survival horror games.
