At first, I thought the GeForce GTX970 I purchased back in mid-2015 was a great buy. Then, as it became apparent that it had a weird memory set-up and the Radeon RX290 completely curb-stomped it in DX12 games, I had just a little bit of buyer's remorse. Now, however, it's looking like I actually got incredibly lucky buying a new card when I did.
Sega already released a lot of these for the 3DS, so presumably they just don't think Nintendo handheld gamers are likely to double-dip for these games.
@TheDarkNut: I don't think it's a question of "if" at this point, just whether it flops bad enough to kill BioWare straight away, or whether they'll last long enough to produce a horrible butched DA4, which will finish them off completely.
@ThePlantain: Yeah, but this has the advantage of letting them write off any debts the old company may have had, and starting afresh. Which is what they already did with Miramax.
If it's just Chinese and Korean text, I wouldn't imagine that'd take up more than a few megabytes of space, bearing in mind how comparatively limited the game's dialogue is, and that it's only text that's being added, not speech clips.
Whoever at Nintendo decided to quickly port Mario Kart 8 to the Switch to keep fans tided over while they (hopefully) work on Mario Kart 9 is probably due a raise round about now.
Out of morbid curiosity, I looked at the retailer where I bought my current GTX 970 from about two-and-a-half years ago... and for the price that I paid for the card back then, now the most I'd be able to get would be a GTX 1050 Ti or an RX560. Yeesh.
I think the EU would have been thrown out whether or not Chewbacca was dead. For one thing, the Star Wars EU was a rarity among sci-fi spin-offs in forcing all works to stick to a particular continuity, instead of just letting the authors run wild and do whatever the hell they wanted. And for another, I can't imagine casual moviegoers would want to have to read a quarter-century's worth of literature to understand what was going on in Episode VII.
