@Elk Nice, I saw that javascript was giving a "TypeError: $(...).attr(...) is undefined" error message whenever I tried to change the avatar yesterday but I didn't know how to fill in the blanks. Thanks for the workaround!

@MrCoolGuy420: They had a closed beta, however a closed beta can't replicate a live change with thousands of users and 17 years worth of data, so there was bound to be issues. At this point we just have to be patient and wait for the development staff to iron out the problems.

Those images featuring "Luchadeer" and Abraham Lincoln the are relics from GiantBomb. They'll probably be replaced by GameSpot's own error messages after the dust settles on the site transfer.
