DLC echoes in my thoughts for a new Wii Zelda that (in theory) never ends.... perfect.

I'm starting to want Nintendo to end Wii eventually and create a regular console without motion controls or voting channels. They should also make their next console with a harddrive so we could get downloadable content for games and stop recieveing shuvel ware and acctually have games like Call of Duty 4 come out for a Nintendo console with all the DLC and extras as the 360,, PC, and PS3. Ok I'm dreaming... so who else wants this?(that is nintendo stopping Wii eventually)

Ok, you have a strong topic. Nintendo is a great compony for keeping tradition. Let's take Zelda for example. The game franchise is more than 20 years old and follows the same format: Go to a bunch of dungeons to collect a certain artifact to gain power to destroy an evil lord (ganon, vatti). In the dungeon you usually find an item that will help you progress trough the game to areas you need to go to to get to the next dungeon or to fight the boss with.

That same format was used in virtually every Zelda game. Yes, it's very solid. No one can beat nintendo's way of crafting an adventure game like this. Sure developers try but usually fail, or come really close. Some people are tired of these things in Zelda and want something way way different that bends the franchise into a new genre, so they talk about it and word gets out about some great idea for a new Zelda. Two years later Nintendo make a new Zelda game, and it follows the exact same way to explore and play the game.

So in short, Nintendo doesn't want to radically change a game genre or gaming as a whole again.

I think I'm bored of my Wii. All of my games feel old already. To really add the icing on the cake, I layed the Guitar Hero 3 disc on the floor too exchange for another game, and my dog started to bite he edges... suprise! it dosen't work anymore. I'm just happy my dog didn't snap the disc and cut his gums, that would have been bad. Any way (WII is getting Boring...)

If I know one thing about SE it's that they costantly make sequels and spin offs. Final Fantasy has 12 going on 13 main games in the series, and although evolving into real time battling it still keeps the same formula. Dragon Quest is on it's 8th game going on 9 and is still turn based. Kingdom Hearts has been going good for a while also. Square Enix has a great fan base to take care of so they know not to swap around game concepts to often. In my oppinion your wrong, The World Ends With You could have a sequel you know.

When I bought my PS2 I got both Kingdom Hearts games and the lady at the counter wondered if I had a memory card. I didn't even think about a memory card (whoops)! Lucky for me they were having a buy 2 used get 1 free sale so I bought a used memory card and got the $30 Kingdom Hearts 2 for free, spending only $40. Thanks gamestop.

It was unique when it first came out, no one could copy the formula just right. Developers still can't and people come back for more and more, liking it every time. There you go.

Sounds a little far fetched I know but seriously, think of the possiblities! Create a little blue guy and costomize his look anyway you like (even toggle his or her voice sound). Then make a mushroom house and buy furniture to tweak it up. Maybe you could even buy spells from Grandpa Smurf and fight evil creatures to gain experience. Throw in some wacky weapons, ability to cook smurf foods, and chat with locals and you got an awesome idea. Do you think this is cool? I'm sorry if it was random, or if you felt weird reading this but give me some feedback anyway.
