Finally some news, and this is certainly welcome. After months of silence, and with the onset of COVID-19, I really thought that it portended the show's cancellation. Good to see it renewed!
I'm speculating that Callum's former love-interest will become his most powerful adversary. Also, I think Aaravos will eventually murder Viren, replacing him as the prime antagonist. I'd like to see Callum learn more exciting magic, more offensive spells to make up for his lack of physical prowess.
I'd like to see a crossover -- Marvel vs DC. More than a movie, I'd like to see a game of Marvel vs DC, done by Netherrealm Studios. Captain Marvel (Billy Baxton) vs Captain Mar-vell (Carol Danvers), Superman vs. Thor, Darkseid vs Thanos, The Flash vs. Quicksilver....etc!
This doesn't look at all like an intuitive fight pad, IMO. It ought to have a six-button configuration readily accessible from the main face plate. However, I prefer a fightstick; and if Pokken wants to look and or feel anything like Tekken, players who adapt Pokken into their fighting-games repetoire and are serious about playing ought to check out Hori Real Arcade Pro V Hayabusa fightstick.
Can you imagine third-party companies like Square-Enix, Namco, etc making games for Atari? It would be nice to have another platform for great games like Nier Automata, Tekken 7, or Call of Duty. Minimal loading times because SD cards are used as cartridges, and during longer periods of loading you can play Pac-Man, Defender, or some other Atari classic. Personally, I'm excited to see another competitor come to the market. Everybody wins because consumers are treated to more content, there are more jobs made for other people, and companies turn a profit. Maybe this will be the console to play all types of games -- vintage, classic, mobile, modern, console, etc.
I was thinking that "Ataribox" sounds too closely like "Xbox". I believe the name ought to be something more in line with Atari's history. How about the Atari 9900?
