I think subscription fees from publishers for gamers are in general a smart business decision. With the 5-Dollar-a-month-program EA is just testing the waters to find out how many gamers will be attracted to such a business model. I think 5 Dollars a month or 30 Dollars a year for four old games is not gonna work.

Okay, they said they will expand the service. But what does that actually mean? I guess we have to wait and see.

In my opinion they should make it 75 Dollars a year for their entire software lineup. But if they would be successful with that concept, it would mean that they would have to expand their server capacities. And most of us know what the outcome of that might be. Sim City, anyone?

Hey, that was a great show guys. The chat on Twitch was amazing as well. I guess the people call for some more of the Nippon stuff, like Chiki Chiki Boys or Cho Aniki. Okay, no one asked for Chiki Chiki Boys. It was just a mix-up. But we had fun anyway.

Romero's comments sound pretty harsh. But there is some truth in his words. The development for PC is more flexible and you don't have to pay any royalties, because no one owns PC. A great advantage for the PC over consoles. Still I believe that the PC won't decimate consoles. The PC's biggest issue is its price. If you wanna keep up wth the graphical evolution of PC gaming you have to invest more money into your gaming as you would for your consoles. Graphic cards, processors, from time to time a new CPU, more RAM and so forth. And then there is another obstacle: You have to know how your PC works. Well, if you wanna know how you implement your new PC gear into your rig, you just have to check out youtube. But what if it doesn't work? Is it compatible with your PC? Maybe you bought the wrong DDR. Or you got this new amazing graphic card which supports only a handful of games. This is what scares a lot of console gamers. And that is why the PC won't decimate consoles. For some time I thought the Steam Machine could have been a console killer. But not after Valve revealed their pricing models.

@Saketume At least she didn't pronounced it as you would expect it from a native English speaking person. ;)

I don't understand why console sales-numbers are so important to some of you. As long as Microsoft and Sony sell well we all should be happy. Because then we can be sure that the developers and publishers will support our consoles. And let's be honest. 95% of the games released come out for PS4 and Xbox One. So who cares which one of those you own? You don't play a console, you play the games. I own a PS4, because I wanted to play Infamous: Second Son and Resogun. There is no game on Xbox One and the WiiU that would make me buy those systems. If a new amazing Gears of War comes out, I'm gonna buy an Xbox One. If a great Metroid comes out for the WiiU, I'm gonna buy that system. I'm not a broker, I don't invest in companies, so why should I care if one console manufacturer sells more consoles than the other?

Alright, the game has some nice ideas, but to me it doesn't feel like a horror game. It's got more of an adventure game with some little creepy elements. But my biggest issue with the game is the lack of a story. Just correcting people's mental problems seems a bit dull. I like horror games with great story-telling.

I guess I could be the best player for Mutation Nation on the Neo Geo CD because I am one of maybe five players who own that game. To the other four: IT IS ON!!!

@inversepolarity @watchdogsrules As far as I know No Man's Sky and Elite have only the space travel feature in common. And none of those two franchises have invented that.

I wanna see Slaughterhouse turned into a stage show. The audience should wear raincoats.

Well, we can talk about graphics and hp under the hood, or the bonnet if you'd prefer that, of gaming consoles all day long, but in the end the major reason for consumers to buy a console are the games. Sure, it's important that your big budget games look shiny-shiny and that the price of the console is fair, but if the console manufacturer has put a superb, unique and exclusive AAA-hit on the shelves of the stores, people will buy the console anyway. And that is so important that we even gave those games their own name some time ago: system-seller.
