Now, the guys from CD Projekt Red are my personal heroes. I hope they stay immune to the disease called "PRBS". A with this disease infected person tends to try to feed you BS by convincing you that things like DRM, time based exclusivity or the permanent usage of motion capture technology are just for your own good.

I love the Uncharted trilogy. It reminds me of those good old Indiana Jones movies. And I definitely hope that Uncharted 4 won't become to its series what Indy 4 had become to the Indiana Jones franchise.

Did you know that Final Fantasy XV's original title was "Dead or Alive: 80's Synthie-Pop in Convertibles"? "You spin me right round, baby, right round, like a record baby, right round round round." Wow, the whole band as playable characters! So great!

@pork7 Actually a lot of Sony's products are made in China through cheap labor, e.g. Playstation products. They just can't keep up with the aggressive and smart pricing models of a lot of their competitors like Samsung. Adding to this their marketing division reacts rather passively to the global market, creating advertisment only if they think it's unavoidable.

That acquisition by Microsoft is very interesting. Did you know that Mojang makes or I'd better say used to make through Minecraft 26$ per second? That's 9,360$ an hour, 224,640$ a day, 1,572,480$ a week, 573,955,200$ a year. So, if Minecraft is continuing to be as successful as it is right now Microsoft will have their 2.5 billion Dollars back within four to five years. I think the deal was reasonable for Microsoft. They are smart business people. I bet they will have their money back within three to four years.

Not long ago I told a friend of mine that I would buy an Xbox One as soon as a good Gears of War title will be released. Well, from what I've seen so far I guess I can keep my money. It looks like an X-Com-rip-off. Actually that might be a good thing. But with the use of Kinect? No, thank you. I hope Kinect is just optional. Otherwise they can keep it.

@SpookyRonin @automato You're absolutely right. I was just commenting on the fear of having our gaming culture destroyed by those mobile games. Some of us seem to be concerned that this nightmarish scenario could actually happen. Of course it won't. Mobile gaming and PCs/consoles don't share the same market.

Mobile devices like the Iphone won't pull away gamers from their PCs or consoles until the whole idea of mobile gaming changes. Right now mobile gaming, and I'm not talking about handheld consoles, is intended to attract those people we might would call "casual gamers". If Apple and all the other manufacturers would honestly consider to catch "real" gamers, they'd need to implement a control scheme to their devices that would be, in a sense of effectiveness, a serious alternative to mouse and keyboard and the good old console controller. Since a touchscreen can't deliver that and it would be an absurd idea to support mobile phones with external controlling devices I see no chance for mobile gaming to have an impact on sales numbers concerning the PC and the console market.

Mobile gaming just adds a new kind of gamer to the map. It has no chance to transform an into the gaming community well established gamer into a ios- or android-only fan. Or have you ever heard someone saying something like, "Yeah, I used to play Starcraft II and Skyrim. But now I'm all into that 'Candy Crush'. Man, that game rocks!"
