It's already been released in Japan for a year or two. Get their version.

The problem of the Neo Geo is that it was too much arcade and fighters. Not platformers, adventure games, RPGs... Metal Slug versions with the Combat School rock, that's true.

And fighting games are much like the arcade version, without extras. Loading times were quite long. KoF, Art of Fighting, Last Blade... They are high quality games, but it's always the same... I have played the Neo Geo Pocket Color and it had more variety, however, it wasn't a success neither. If you like rare systems, get a TurboExpress xD

To conclude, I wouldn't change my SNES for your Neo Geo.

...And I don't think having 5 PS3 is a normal thing...!

I wouldn't trade my SNES for my NEO either. That's why my Neo is my 4th favorite console and my SNES is my first. But as for load times you are quite mistaken unless you are referring to the NEO CD Console. That was the beauty of the Neo Geo AES. Those gigantic cartridges are nothing but pure RAM. ZERO load time. Hence the cost.

And yes, the Neo was primarily fighters, but if you grew up in the late 80's/early 90's then you know that fighters were what made the world go around. Aside from fighters, Neo has awesome platformers and shooters such as Spin Master, Metal Slug series, Blazing Star, Pulstar, Zed Blade, Shocktroopers, Sengoku series, View Point, Ghost Pilots, etc. However, when you throw in about 50 balls-to-the-wall fighters.......you have a champion console.

You know.......Donkey Kong Country could actually be the best looking and sounding game of the 90's. There was nothing before or after those 3 titles that came close to comparison.

We were all too stupid to realize what a phenominal system SEGA had delivered to us and we ignored it. That's what happened.
