Yes, I have a Neo Geo AES. I actually have two. Until about a year ago I had 4 Neo Geo AES consoles and one Neo Geo CD console. I hit some financial constraints and sold it all, including my 24 cartridges and 12 cd's.
However, I have two cartridge consoles now and 7 healthy games. Don't get me wrong, it is expensive. I just spent almost $700 on 3 games this month alone. But I'll tell you, playing the real thing on a Neo Geo and playing a Rom on a modded Xbox are two completely different things.
Owning a Neo is just a surreal kind of thing. You can walk into someone's house and see 2 Xbox 360's and 5 PS3's and not think much about it......but walk into someone's house and see one NEO GEO sitting in their living room and you'll open up some eyes. I highly recommend diving in. It is expensive, but well worth the investment. I'd rather have 4 or 5 great games on a Neo Geo than 8 or 10 average games on another console. And funny enough, my top two favorite games on the console aren't even fighters....which is what the system is known for.
