Consider what we've been posting so far. Do you think people would take us seriously? We need more serious topics, but for now it's good to have threads that we can post in regularly. A welcome movie should try to walk the line between serious and silly, to show that the union is a fun place to be, while also showing what we can achieve by working together. Just making the movie would probably impress people. Maybe it could be an advert as well, but then people probably wouldn't bother to download it.
Egg Lay (Grab) - Resolves before normal grabs. 3 damage, turns a character into an egg for the next turn. The egg cannot move or be grabbed. Egg Roll (Me)(Dy) - 8 damage. If you were not hit during the attack, and Egg Roll is used on the consecutive turn, ignore delay. Egg Throw (Pr) - 2x3 damage Yoshi Bomb (Ag) - 4 damage. Ram (Me) - 6 damage. Grab - Resolves before normal grabs. Chomp 3 damage. Basic Throw - 5 damage. Special Throw - 3 damage, choose another character to inflict 4 damage(Pr). Shield.
A man looks outside and thinks it's a very nice day, so he sets off to enjoy a nice long walk. After some time walking, a dog crosses his path, but the man doesn't notice the leash, which was held by another man. So the man tripped over the leash, and slammed his face into a sign post. He should go to the hospital, but it's such a nice day it would be a pity to waste, he could get the nose straightened tomorrow. So with a bent nose, he continues walking......

One of the things this union can do someday is create a movie. This will take a few people with knowledge, skill, creativity and the patience to complete the task.
This thread is for ideas.
There are several ways we could make a movie: Simple animation: write a script, get somebody who can draw it and few people to provide the voices. Machinima: take footage from a video game and add voices. Fan dub: take a movie and replace the foreign language vocals with english vocals.
I won't go into the technical details (which I don't know anyway).
I think that if we do make something, we should start with a simple animated welcome video for the union, include all the officers and make it interesting somehow.
