As a long time FF fan, I played FFX when it came out, and I was shocked to see how all the exploration was gone, but as a fan I kept being loyal.
When XII came out (didn't play XI, was playing WoW atm) i bought it, still have it, and it felt the same as FFX, everything that I loved about FF was gone.
Then XIII came out and again, I bought it, but this time I wasn't sure I wanted to play it, played for 7 hours, turned off the console and it's been collecting dust for years now. Obviously I didn't play the sequel and wont play the lightning returns thing.
When FFXV comes, I wont but it, I know the FF I used to get so excited about doesn't exist anymore, no president will change that, SquareSoft was a great company, Square Enix is not. We are closer to see a FF FPS than to get a release of a true FF game, FFIX being the last true FF game.
@Coco_pierrot Agree, FFX was for some reason good for newcomers, but for all of us who loved FF it was missing all the things that made FF great, after that it's all been downhill.
@jdm2686 @downloadthefile I'm still gonna buy the game eventually when it gets fixed because it looks awesome, but I completely agree with the score, the game is for sale NOW, and if you can't play the game i'd say its a horrible experience.
@jdm2686 @petez34 The game is for sale NOW, and the review is based on the experience, if you can't play the game i'd say the experience is horrible, 5.0 is a high score for something almost unplayable.
