Good article but Capcom hasn't learn its lesson. They are stubbornly sticking to their initial plan and I'm sticking to mine. There are better fighters currently available and more to come that isn't Capcom.

Blizzard's goal is not to alarm its user-base so they going to use their words carefully, however I bet a good thousand out of the millions of users were hacked, hence, as they carefully put it, "extremely small."

Instead of laying off the talented individuals that slaved over the game why not cut the CEOs or brainchild's of this game to 40%.

The gaming industry is in desperate need of creativity and diversity if they wish to maintain their user-base as long term consumers. Games today are just cheap thrills, that's why they are so many in the used bins.

@SuprSaiyanRockr Precisely, DRM doesn't work...it only compromises the legitimate paying consumers and how annoying it is for one to be connected at all times for a single player game, very annoying.

This is a depressing age where games use "real currency" to purchase digital content that is limited to the medium you're playing on. It has no real world value but cries for real world money. Appalling! I am disgusted, and I don't care how invaluable the item may be, I won't ever succumb to it. How disgusting! And I am disgusted by any gamer that vouch for this practice in videogames.

Has the gaming industry gone bloody mad? I miss those days when developers actually make games to be fun instead of scheming ways to nickel and dime the customer to death...

Call of duty, Activision's cash cow...keep on milking; milk the juice out of that fat cow because it seems the majority of gamers love that sweet juice. This gaming generation is bloody pathetic...just shooters--shooter RPG, shooter Adventure, shooter racing, shooter action game, shooter simulation game, shooter this and shooter that!
