This is a fun game. It actually separated me from Street Fighter V. It is a bloody shame it does not have cross platform play because it would have been amazing for the community.
It is a fun game, actually it is an OK game. It reminds me a lot of Valve's Team Fortress and I guess that's the market or demographic they are trying to draw but it is not for me. I think the price is too much. The game should have been no more than 30 bucks.
It has a lot of characters - pleasant diversified with a lot of charm and personality -- but at this day and age games of that stature should not be priced at 60 bucks especially where there is cheaper and most cases free alternatives.
Once the free trial is over, my curiosity will be over as well.
I except nothing less than a superb final product from Naughty Dog. They mastered their craft with this franchise and although it is an excellent game - a game I will gladly add to my collection - I want to see what they can do next outside of their established IPS. Give us another game like The Last Us, I am dying to see what they can do.
It is frustrating there is no word from Capcom in regards of when this character is going to be available for play. I am assuming on the last couple days of April which is pretty soon. However they should be more transparency between the company and the consumer base.
This is by far the biggest mistake this company is doing with a beloved, respected, and the most iconic RPG of our generation. Square Enix, if we have waited decades for this remake then we will wait even more for a completed version. We do not want multiple disc releases; we prefer a complete game and if that game cost more than 60 bucks then we will pay it. If the standalone game cannot fit on one disc then we gladly accept one package with multiple discs.
Is it too much to ask Square Enix? Are you guys serious in taking this beloved game and chopping it up in several installments solely for profiteering, Square Enix? Screw this company!! I am not buying it.
This game should have had a multi-platform release on all mainstream consoles including the PC. Alas, I have to wait until the other versions come out in a few months. Fortunately, this probably the limited exclusive title Xbox needs to get a decent run in the sales market.
If they were to go all out with this DLC, add a cohesive/fulfilling story, then it is worth every single penny. Who wouldn't want to experience the fall of batgirl and seeing Joker again? I would.
