And this is why Nintendo games have been the same thing for 20 years. Sure some games are fine with out stories but to say that games as a whole are better off with one dimensional stories and characters is stupid.

@bonander @R2C25 Not even Asia? Damn, I was certain that was a place between Bristol and London.

I wouldn't be so sure if I was them. I have already seen small articles in news papers talking about the event on the 20th and I'm sure most news papers will cover the event in at least a page sized article.

Well they already purchased the website SingularityPS4.com a few months back so that is my guess as to what it is. Probably based on the Kara demo.

@JoeAdvanced @grbolivar Well they did with the PS2 for many years and they said they will do the same for the PS3. I see no reason why this won't be the case.

@wexorian I'm not saying that 140 million people would buy it, I'm saying there are 140 PS3's and 360's sold compared to 3 million Wii U's (which is understandable given how long they've been out).

My point is that if 1/40 360 or PS3 owners buy Rayman Legends that is still more sales than if every Wii U owner bought it. Also your point of it not selling on other platforms is completely unfounded given that of January 2012 Origins had sold 247,371 copies on Wii, compared to 383,517 on PS3 and 328,708 on 360 despite the Wii having a considerably bigger userbase.

@Chico86_basic @Adavanter I've played Legends on a demo unit. The Wii U gamepad doesn't make as much of a difference as your trying to make out. Basicly you tap the screen to make murfy move around and you tilt it to move some platforms (sixaxis could replicate that at least)

@monster637 Pick up Rayman Origins cheap, you won't regret it.

@nintendoboy16 From what I've played Murfy's gameplay could probably quite easily be mapped to an analog stick for his movement and the sixaxis for the tilting stuff (although I don't imagine it will work as well as it does on Wii U)

As for the delay, I agree, it's quite annoying and it probably would have sold well enough but look at it from their point of view for a second. They would have to market it twice, once to a market of about 3 million and then again to a market of 140+ million. Looking at it from a purely numbers perspective I think they would say it is better to advertise it once to all the people at once, 2 birds with one stone etc.

@Umitencho @BlackBaldwin By about 1 week in the US and in the UK the PS3 came out several months after the Wii. The technology was basically the same as the gamecubes but with a gimmicky controller thrown in. Every other company made a big leap in technology with their consoles, in comparison, the Wii was rushed out.
