@WoodenStick I'd be suprised if the console ever recieved a price rise especially when the much more powerful consoles are said to be launching at around £300. They would be wise to keep a low price point as a selling point for their console once they launch.
@Spartan_418 I'm guessing Blizzard and Bungie aren't on the picture because they didn't want to spoil the suprise for later on in the show. As for CD Projekt Red, I have no idea why they aren't listed.
@d_generate_x Agreed. If cutscenes are long, boring and disrupt the flow of gameplay then they are doing it wrong. I mainly play MGS for the story because the characters and cutscenes are well done and make me want to keep playing but I see how in some games cutscenes might just get in the way.
As for the deaths of characters who you have committed time to, that's pretty much the exact point of it. The death of characters in games like FF7 is impactful BECAUSE of the time you spent building up that character, its what gives the scene meaning.
@skunknuts @Zepthire95 He said that when a character that the player has spent time with is killed off its unfair on the player and it makes them feel upset is a bad thing which makes no sense. Basically what he is saying is that it's bad for games to have stories that make you feel attached to characters and then have them killed off.
So basically what he is saying is that Metal Gear Solid, Final Fantasy and many other games are bad because they kill off characters that you feel for.
