They set up the controls like COD! WTF were DICE thinking. Need legacy controls back...Now!!! Melee is not as important as crouching in this game, fix it! So far the Beta has told me what I already knew, either next gen or move over to PC cause current consoles aren't cutting it. Hit detection seems way better than BF3 already... So there is hope... Just not with current consoles.
Eh, respect his thoughts but...nah. It's time. I want more performance. Higher frame rates, more complex A.I. and so forth and the limitations are in the hardware it seems. But TBH I think devs have just become complacent and that's why we see such low levels of polish in big budget games. (Bf3 comes to mind) They're dependent on their hardware and not on their own technical skills like in the past. They need to be less ambitious and do a better job of balancing the technical feats with overall performance.
DICE, you already screwed us with an online pass with Bf3 so of course your all for this...This is a bad idea. PERIOD!!! What about rented games? Your telling me I can't enjoy a rented game? I can't enjoy taking a game to friends house? This is stupid. Stop being ****ing greedy. The devs are whats hurting the industry. If this goes into effect I'm all for pirating and just straight stealing the ****. **** your profits...I'm a real gamer, don't treat me like I'm some ****ing casual new to gaming. This BS does make me upset...Along with paying for a service "ALL OTHER PALTFORMS GIVE FOR FREE"... Screw you M$!
@Dedakiss, I understand...butt. The game gave up on it' sim roots since the transition from FPS to TPS. How many GR have been produced since then? Infact GR has been an TPS longer then an FPS. Complaints are warrented, but it's a bunch of sequeals and many years to late. If your asking for something else your literally asking for another game. For me anyway (can't speak for others) it was never about it being a sim, even though I did enjoy the challange. It was simply a great co-op game. Which made it a blast and kept it in rotation amongst me and my fellow gamers for many years. This looks as if that aspect of the game hasn't changed.
Its what it needs to be. They gave up on the sim style once the game went TPS. So to anyone complaining go play a hardcore PC sim or join our Armed Forces... The Military, where you get limited ammo and only 1 life. Great cover system, very hectic firefights, nice sound design, tons of gadgets and customization, lets add is our friends, some tactics, and boom!!! Good times! I'm sooo tired of the online heavy MP FPS. I want something co-op heavy, this is it... Me and my buds can't wait to call our shots, yell for cover fire, save each others butts and say "Saved your ass, you owe me a beer!" and all the other fun stuff thats come with this type of tacticool game.
