A true artist should be satisfied when people have an interest in their music in the first place.

Mr_Sesshomaru

While their loving may give them a thrill, their loving doesn't pay the bills. The whole "true artist" doesn't hold any weight to me.

A true artist has talent, if you have talent then you have a good chance at making money. If you are just the average joe who composes a tune and EXPECTS compensation for it then what can i say...get off your high horse, try harder or find another job.

[QUOTE="Atheists_Pwn"] How is it wrong? What logic are you speaking of? the entire idea of owning property is nothing more than opinion. Completely subjective. The only thing that unifies our ideas of property is our government. Not a single person on this planet actually owns music.ice_rootbeer

I dont know if you are serious... .... cause its really funny and i am lol'ing ... Have you written the music? Have you created the music? You are just listening to the music if you havent written or created it yourself. It is copy written. Therefore it is the property of someone. Not just anyone can create music that everyone will enjoy listening to.

I agree with this. Being a musician myself, and being related to musicians, I can say that I don't appreciate people downloading my music off the internet. Occasionally we'll give out free downloads, and if you like it, buy it. I understand people sharing music, but downloading it illegally isn't something I can agree with.

A true artist should be satisfied when people have an interest in their music in the first place.

Some rock star said this.

"I hate all these big, silly rock stars who moan – at least they're ******* downloading your music, you ****, and paying attention, know what I mean? You should *******appreciate that – what are you moaning about? You've got *******' five big houses, so shut up,"

The problem with alot of musicians these days is that they think they are so good that they deserve to make money, these days i think they should be greatfull for getting any attention at all, even if people download the music, i feel this way because i believe now a days music is utter crap so i couldn`t care less if people pirate music.

I'm not comparing terrorists to the Church but in its simple form, both are organisations, if the US can declare war on terror it can do the same to the church if it wants to.

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] No I believe the truth. But show me where the US courts go into a country, arrest a citizen in said country for breaking a US law that doesn't apply to them. Please do....LJS9502_basic

Sadam husein :| what US laws did he break in Iraq?...sense much

Again war is not about our courts prosecuting him.:|

what? i see no difference, the only difference is declaring war..after that, the US can do whatever it pleases.

[QUOTE="LJS9502_basic"] War is not equivalent to one's police force arresting people living in other countries with different laws than the US.;)LJS9502_basic

Yeah, the only thing the US has to do is declare war on the pope, please, its clear that you believe only in what suits you best ;)

[QUOTE="priestinacloset"]Um yes if you commit a crime and the police find out you get tried regardless of the victims will. We arrest drug lords all the time for their trade regardless of their residency status. If you think that were you stand on a fictional line should mandate whether or not justice is able to be served for victims, then you need a lot more help than a message board can facilitate. I bid you good day. I do not have time to argue with someone so obstinate and willing to excuse such horrifying actions simply because of someones job title.LJS9502_basic

It was a good read, tedious at times but i did enjoy it, it also got me thinking alot about the real life situation the United Kingdom is in, and to be honest the future of the United Kingdom kind of worries me.
