No, my point is that people should pay for what they use. We do so for every other commodity (electricity, water, fuel, etc), why not for internet bandwidth? Why should someone who uses 25GB pay the same as someone who uses 250GB of downloads?

People like you piss me off, instead of supporting the interests of consumers (you), you side with the interests of multimillion dollar companies. :|

why? the hell i don't know why, you probably wouldn't even care if electricity, water and fuel rose 200% in price.

I think he's just a little ticked with people's sense of entitlement. Problem is, internet downloads aren't a limited commodity. Granted, it costs a company more to provide faster internet service, but as for the download limit? That has no effect on the companies costs. In short, I think daqua_99 is trying to get at a noble point, and he would be right, IF it weren't for the fact that passing the download cap won't cost the company a cent.

Right, he can be mad all he wants, people should feel entitled to keep things the way they are, it seems like he is getting screwed over in Australia along with the rest of Aussies, he should blame himself and his own for their lack of action against the companies that are scewing them over.

They pay 100$ for a video game, next he'll be asking why the rest of the world doesn't pay that much...

We've been having all this in Australia for years. Most of the lines here are owned by one company, Telstra, and there is virtually no stable unlimited system. You want unlimited, you get a crappy connection, as your ISP puts you as lowest priority.

I pay $60 a month for 20mb/s, though I only get ~2mb/s. I have a 50GB download limit.

daqua_99

So what's your point? That because Australia gets screwed it's fine if other countries get screwed too?

....Wow. I said I wasn't gonna look at it, and like a dummy, I went to look at all of it. Damn my curiosity. Wouldn't that entire video be considered animal cruelty?...:x Still not gonna change my diet because of it. Even if I decided to change it, I doubt it would slow down productions....tocool340
There are aprox 8 million vegetarians in the US alone, imagine the average American in his lifetime consumes 200 chickens, 20 cows, 30 pigs, 1000 fish etc , you can always make a difference even if you're not aware.

Makes you wonder, seeing the living conditions these animals are in and the diseases, is your own health worth risking just for a tasty burger?

I'm seriously considering turning vegetarian, my dad has been eating meat his whole life and has a crap load of health problems,

I had a hard time watching this video of a 3 year old girl being patted down by a TSA agent against her will, as i rage and ponder at what justifies this kind of treatment to Americans, the only conclusion i can come up with is that Americans are being treated as terrorists, how far is the government willing to go, and how much more freedoms are Americans willing to loose at the cost of "security"?

Got this link from Reddit.

Have kids? want to have kids? this is not acceptable, as a father, i'd cut through flesh and bone before anyone touches my daughter.

Really? Do tell me more then. Last I checked, a private corporation goes bankrupt and dies off when it's poorly managed. I could be wrong about that after all.

Last time i cheked, corps these days get bailed out and still manage to fail, in other words, Gov + Corps just plain fail :P

Anway, seeing all the countires that have better health care than us makes one wonder.

Better in payment....not care.

Better health care system.

No. More government programs = more government control. I'm sorry, I'm not for big government.

Also do away with Social Security. Privatized retirement >>>> social security.

Well do away with SS for my generation, there are at least 2-3 generations that still need it. Phase it out.

Bring back the days of more powerful state governments and local governments. Our country needs to be as politically diverse as it is culturally diverse for all to thrive.

LJS9502_basic

So you would rather trust your life to a corporation than the government? And we're not going back to the time of strong local government. As technology increases government will become even more centralized.

Do you want the government telling you what you can eat, how much you need to exercise, what you can't do? Because if government provides the health care they have the right to control your health.

I wonder if you was saying the same when Bush was in power but about other issues, i dunno where you stand politically but i hope your not a republiclown.

Of course, because the government has managed social security and Medicare with flying colors.

It's done it better than any private company would.
