Ever since i had this computer, when i play games all the movies stagger, it like freezes in audio and video and just stutters. I was wondering if this is a hardware problem? I use 8600GT. It's quite frustrating because i don't know if its either a codec or hardware problem.
Edit- It's only Ever happened to ingame video... (All of them, yes all of them.)
Alright i'm playing far cry 2, bored of SP i decided to go have some fun with the map editor, boy i was wrong. First up i thought i could make a massive area or trail of burning grass, i went ahead and tried that. DID NOT WORK. Apparently, it has a fixed radius where the fire stops burning (even with wind max), so i thought... well huts made out of dry grass should burn right? right?! I WAS BLOODY WRONG. LOL! After a while (20 or so minutes) of creating this beautiful masterpiece of huts stacked ontop of each other and from an arial view created a piece of artwork. I tried to burn the first hut, and well... i had expected much more. The bloody thing never burnt down.
I also tried a stack of hay, oh horrible. There is just a point in games where things get UNREALISTIC and then it fails. I also stacked gas tanks approximately 150 stories high, oh they did blow up. However remained fixed in their positions. How lazy do developers get? I mean seriously, you can't burn hay or houses(cleary their advertisements shows u can...) but you can pop open your hood and fix the car.
One thing that was decent was that i could do barrel tests. I love them. It was fun and i had fun while my computer crashed.
I just want to hear what you guys have experienced using the map editor. And has it met your expectations? Cheers.
(Of course expecting things to be realistic is impossible but im just saying... i like to burn stuff.)
Huh? The guy I quoted said he didn't like MGS4. Someone quoted him with something like "there's 30,000 people and one of you" or something like that. I don't know what the hell you're talking about. I was just emphasizing that everybody has their own taste, their own opinion.

Sorry i wasn't directing it at you, i'm just talking to the guy who said "there's 30,000 people and one of you". Misunderstanding.
In other words, i agree with you :D
Theres 2 ways you can connect a ps3.
1. Wireless internet connection.
2. Ethernet Cable.
I'm predicting you do not have wireless, so ill skip that.
Ethernet:
Ok, Ethernet as you know it is the cable you have linked your computer cable to the modem. It is usually Blue, but may vary and be black, tellow, white, or wateva colour you have or painted it with.
To connect your PS3 to the internet (using ethernet cables), First get the cable.
Secondly, there should be a port which the cable can fit into at the back of the ps3.
Third, you should have a modem that has more than 1 slot for the ethernet cables (i.e. modem router are usually 4ports)
Fourth step, simple plug both ends in. One into the ps3, the other into your modem.
If you do not have any other spare ports on your modem, you will haveto choose either to use ur PC or PS3 at any single time.
To get more of these ports, you have to buy a MINI HUB, switches or whateva you call them. They usually sell 4 port ones and they are fairly cheap.
I feel sad too. sometimes. I have lots of PS2 games, a PS3 some games, and a bunch of PC games. and Im still sad.... dont know why?Dogswithguns
I think you just need more games... lol
