The Nerf Armor does not have a great hinge. Before it is put on, the two halves can come apart quite easily. Once placed on a Lite however, the Nerf hinge is stronger. I do not have a DS with a broke hinge, so I have nothing to compare too. The Nerf Armor might help a Lite with a broke hinge, but might not help. It might be worth the $15 for you to try it out.
From what I understand, not the SD slot but the DSi will still have a game slot the same as a Lite? Am I correct? This way games in the stores will still play on both systems.
The story is weak. You must like the battle board where you move on a square grid to fight. Because this is repeated over & over. So, if you need a real good story to like a game this is not for you.
