As each new handheld came out, it was able to play only the previous system game in addition to the games made for it. But only that one previous system games.
DS can play Advance games, Advance can play Color, Color can play GameBoy. But no system can jump back 2 types & work. But at least Nintendo made each system play earlier games, because they could have made each one only play the games made for that system.
The only reason to sell is if you are not satified with the DS & want to play another system. Otherwise, keep it it will be quite awhile before anything else is done to the DS.
The graphics are good enough, make the AI better to give more of a challenge to the battles. No to 3-D graphics, this is not that type of game. The challenge of winning each battle should be the main focus to the game. Using more of the limited space of the game cartridge for better graphics will lead to a cake walk through of the battles. Doing that for me would make the game too easy & therefore no point in playing.
