Anyone has it? I just bought it today and well kinda confused cause I never play that kind of games.. XD If you have it what do you think about it? Is it fun for you??Sho-Chan

I have EO4. I have played EO1, EO2 & EO3. EO4 is like other series games (DQ & FF), the basic content stays the same while adding newer content.

All the EO games are throwbacks to the old grind em out RPG's. You move across land in a skyship to get to mazes. You can use auto-map to make out

the maze layout. But I like doing it manually because it reminds me of using graph paper in the day to be able to explore. Stay away from the foes

you have built up you party. I am level 10 & have not defeated any foe in the first land. In the mazes, I have defeated them but since this is a

grinder game, you do need higher levels before attempting the foes. Also, I have played about every RPG game on the systems I own, I would rate EQ

equal to only 1 other game for gringing, all other RPG's I played have far less grinding than EQ.

So if you don't like to grind, grind, grind & grind some more I would not recommend this game.

Hey everyone . I just purchased a 3ds and am trying connect it to my wireless network but am having some issues . The 3ds cant see my access point even while standing right next to my router . I know the problem isnt the ds because it is able to see my neighbors network as that comes up when I search for access points . My router is only 2 years old and I've never had any issues trying to connect anything wirelessly in the past . Any ideas anyone ?

What encoding does your router use?  Have you entered the 3ds menu & entered the correct encoding & router password? Both must be matched up before the 3ds will connect.

There are 2 FF Tactics games only. Tactics in the title is the give away. Other series have made a Tactics version game on past systems.

Tactics games are played on a grid board, players and enemies taking turns based on speed. On your turn you do an action from your player menu.

Any game that is FF with a number is like the game you mentioned.

I just bought a 3Ds XL. I do not have a 3Ds game but have tried several of my DS games. The sound is turned up all the way and I can barely hear the sound. I went into my settings, changed them from surround to stero to mono still can barely hear the game. Same game in my DSi XL, sound level is fine. Is anyone experiencing this problem ?

you were playing a DS game bro.

Pilotwings Resort Updated Hands-On

We ride the thermals and buzz the tower as Nintendo's free-flying franchise takes to the skies in 3D.

My post 2 above yours states the name of the game I played. I do believe I can tell 3D vs. 2D. The upper screen display was visually different when the 3D switch as turned on & off.

Sounds like you were playing a DS game... in 2D... so of course you're going to be 'totally unimpressed with the 3D.'
Also, I don't think anyone believed the bottom screen was 3D. Most know this is only a touch screen.

DustinTheWind

No, I was not playing a DS game. It was a 3DS game in the 3DS. Sliding the switch changed the upper screen from 3D to 2D. You could see the difference. What I said stands for me, I was unimpressed by the 3D, it was 3D just not that great for me. I am not sure the name of game that was in the 3DS, but you flew a biplane from a rear view & tried to get objects as you came up to them. I went back & forth from 3D to 2D several times. It may have been PilotWings Resort that Dzimm spoke of several posts back.

I was at Bset Buy yesterday & played a game on the display unit. I was totally unimpressed with the 3D. It was 3D only on the screen in the lid only, the lower screen was just like a DS. The lower screen is only 3.0in & the upper 3.5in. with the game I played not using the upper screen all the way side to side. There was a black border on each side squeezing the size used down to about 3.0in. My assessment of the 3DS based on what I saw from playing the game is poor. If that is what the games are going to be on the 3DS, Nintendo should have stuck with the DSI & DSI XL & the larger screens with the longer battery life. The problem I have is very few good games will be made for the DS now & at some point in time no new games. So to play new games I will have to buy the 3DS & never turn on the 3D. I might wait until they come out with a newer 3DS with larger screens & maybe a better battery. This was not a good change for the Nintendo's hand held system.

I always liked playing the handhelds, just got tired of having a hard time seeing the screen. I was not going to buy the DS for the same reason. When the lite came out everything changed, I looked & looked for one that christmas. Finally I got one online & started buying games for the new system.
