ok i uh did not understand that. but it is the 3850 i am getting i made mistake and my friend is going to connect it to my x1550. i just want to know what will work when looking at specs. like is their a certain thing that will tell me what will work like a number or socket???? my cpu is a intel pentium 4 2.79ghz. and i want something to run at like 3.2-3.4.

I dont want a new rig. i invested a bunch in fixing this up. i am going to have about 6-700 dollars after my birthday and i was using $400 to buy games and movies for my new playstation 3. the rest i was putting in my pc.

I have a old dell dimension 4600i that i am trying to upgrade to get it able to run games like mass effect 2 and sims 3 all on Maximum. i am going to get a Ati raedon hd 3650 for my old agp 8x motherboard and connect it with the old ati so i can be running 1gb of video Ram. but my cpu is horribly slow. i want to get a new cpu but i have to find out what is compatible. can anyone tell me what will work with my system???

Well i was just thinking about it the other day. what if the game is set for a suprise release and the only warning that we will have is that the esrb will post the rating online? i mean it would just be like walking into Gamestop and all of a sudden a copy of duke nukem forever is on the shelf. wouldnt that be weird?
