I've still got a year or two of catching up with my game collection so I have no intention of upgrading if there is no backwards compatibility.

Another series ruined by annual release schedules.

I was thinking about picking up AC3 within the next week. What's the point now? No one will be playing it by christmas.

The fact is no film these wannabes try and make will come close to the potential the hitman games have.

It certainly isn't the worst film ever, and god knows it is definitely not the worst game adaptation ever.

However the hitman storyline screams for a very dark film with extreme dark comedy and an actor who isn't a pretty boy hollywood 'star'.

@Dudeinator Probably because it's a game that actively encourages you to create a nuclear holocaust for the sake of entertainment.

You should play it, it's so much fun.

Amazing game. Nothing better than gloating to your enemies about wiping off millions from their civilian populations while you ready your submarines off their coasts for the second strike.

Just cast the actual voice actor already and use the actual story from the game. It seriously isn't difficult. Honestly, why the **** do people throw money at such terrible projects.

It'l be the last major game of the current gen.

To port it into next gen systems would be pointless, not when they could develop brand new games that actually use the new systems to their full advantage. I can't imagine the pay off for multi-gen systems would be worth it, or even profitable. Some people would wait, others won't. It seems far to uncertain from a consumer view, although they might know something we don't.

If the new systems, microsoft especially, are backwards compatible then it would be a complete waste of time. Perhaps that is what they are waiting to find out.
