True, but you have to factor the Cost of Living in Europe. Factor that some European countries have a minimum wage of about 7 Euros an hour (which factors to about $11 US), while the US minimum wage is only $6.55 an hour. Now say your a high school-er making 7 Euros in Europe working at McDonalds at the minimum wage rate an hour, compared to a US high school-er doing the same job in the US for $6.55 an hour. Now who's making more money? The high school-er in Europe makes about $4.55 US more than a US high school-er. So...if that high school-er from the US travels to Europe, he will have to pay a lot more of his income to buy a DS game there.

Prices aren't going up

Nintendo titles are 19.99 - 29.99 - 34.99 (for top tier)

SE games are either 29.99 or 39.99

It's always been that way on the DS, this is nothing new.

Why can't it be 29.99? I have seen very few 39.99 games on the Ds. And if the range of prices go from 19.99 to 39.99....I'm asking...why 39.99? Not all of there games are this much money.

Sadly, all of Square-Enix's titles are retailing at 40 bucks, which is a problem for my wallet...Honest, I could get The World Ends with You or Okami for the exact same price?! I mean, TWEWY looks fun, but Okami is such a better value. bluej33

This is exactly my point, you could get a higher quality game, and that is worth 40 bucks. I love Square-Enix to death, but I'm not paying those prices. IF people continue to buy there games for that much, they'll jack up the prices even more. I'll wait for a price drop.
