@BryanBHU @Tobajas No you can pick which ever one you like the down time on the japanese servers have not been as often as the NA and EU one's. Alot of the problems like that with the duty servers only affected the NA and EU servers, with a few other things.
After 3 or was it 4 maintenance's for the NA and EU they fixed it which resulted in the JP servers being taken down at the same time as the NA and EU to fix the problem for all servers as I understand it. There is a site called www.arrstatus.com that could under multiple maintenances show that the JP servers were still up. Also SE often only said the NA and EU were going down and you could log onto the JP.
I also tried playing on the JP servers but when almost no one could understand me and only spoke japanese it kinda made it less apealing.
It might be hard to launch an MMO but let's do some basic math Number of Japanese servers 20 + 5 legacy North American 15 + 4 legacy Europe 5 + 1 Legacy.
Number of people living in Japan 126 million, in North America 528 million and in Europe 711 million people. So basicly japan has the same number of servers as the combined people of europe and north america that houses around 10 times more people. I wont say all the people in NA and EU has a computer I would guess that maybe only at most half of the families in these countries has one if even that would most likely be much less.
Still if europe has 6 servers and EU by far has more then 126 million people who can have access to computers compared to Japans 20. Is there such a suprise then that the NA + EU servers are taxed, blocked from makeing new characters or even log in because the world is full. At the same time a bunch of bugs that in some instances has been game breaking has been poping up regulary in the game since early access started.
A few that I have encounterd are being blocked out of chat the chat telling me I am trying to use my text as some kind of command which results in an error. Unable to switch class because I quote "You can not switch to the class Scholar while being in the Arcanist class. You must first switch to Arcanist to be able to switch to Scholar."
Also what feels like a punch in the face to us EU players is that alot of the maintenance done has been done in times so that the NA prime time would not be affected which meant that during our EU prime time all the servers were down to then start again at 2-3 am in the morning this was done a few times all the time saying that the times are chosen so as to not affect prime time. So I guess we europeans just loooove playing games during 3-6 am ahhh that sweet prime time.
@Scorpion1813 No you dont but there are supposse to be somethings that carries over if you have a save from the earlier game. Still a mod was released fairly quickly after Dragon age 2 was released that let you get all the things that you could have gotten from Dragon age 1 choices. So most likely saves or something to fix the game will probably be added fairly quickly to the new one but I dont know how big things will be carried over or like in DA 2 they only added a few extra side quests or small encounters or some few references here and there.
@OseiWar Never heard of a dog fetching a stick? If not fetch is the same as go get, in other words it's a word for acquiring something. It's also in the US become a slang word for cool, awesome or hip.
