@Swaghard If I remember correctly they have said that the difficulty is going to be noticable by every step up, and that on the hardest difficulty you basically have to play in tactics-mode, if this is true or not I dont know but I hope it is because I really enjoy to play the rpg's once at mid difficulty for story and then on the hardest mode to challenge myself.
Extremly suprised everyone just talked about big games that has hacking as a mini-game. How about hacking evolution that game in my opinion when it came out showed how hacking works.
@flashn00b Well might be a bit off with this but steam just released Final Fantasy IV yesterday on steam, to be more exact it's the new Final Fantasy IV DS remake
@keviac @foxhound_fox Well the game can go on for a long long time, which I guess you know I mean getting me to over a few hundred lvls took me forever and getting those millions of souls you need to a single lvl up and not lose them while your grinding them or like I did by simple clearing more and more playthroughs which made it harder and harder to keep those souls.
From what I understand if you choke someone and press on a certain blood vein while choking them about 85% of the people choked this way will fall unconscious the only problem here is that they usually only stay unconscious for about 10-120 seconds so everything between 10 seconds and 2 minutes. You basically stop the blood flow and air to the brain which results in a hard reset kinda like restarting a computer. This is usually dont result in memory loss but the person being put unconscious will often not be aware of have actually been unconscious though they will wonder how they got on the floor since the last thing they remember was being choked.
The problem here is that the 85% of the people are people who have'nt trained their necks alot thus making it easy to pressure the blood vein but if a person has it all of a sudden can become all but impossible leading you to choke the person to death before they lose consciousness or they fall unconscious because of air loss leading to brain dmg.
@snaketus @krishnaV_ I sneaked into work once :p I work at the post office and wanted to get my package a day earlier so I snuck in and thought I was super cool when I managed to not be seen by anyone xD
A bit off topic but also cool is the fact that there is already a working lazer weapon that the US army though not mass produced at the moment and more in the prototype faze. I dont remember the exact name of it but it is basically a giant disc on wheels which can fire a big lazer beam the problem here is the fact that it needs to be focused on it's target for sevral minutes after which it basically destroys anything electrical. So it's not really like the lazer shown in movies in the video they basically showed how it could be used to easily take down planes and tanks in the future if they could get the lazer to be more effective. Since it shoots so fast if I remember correctly it was easy to hit with but having to focus on a target on sevral minutes before it doing anything is to unrealiable in actual combat and they will most likely be targeted and destroyed before doing anything. This kinda makes me think these kind of things from movies and games are not impossible to make.
Also on this episode, while it would be cool and awesome with giants robotsuits or mechsoldiers. I do believe that for now atleast the issue is cost and our technology for a long time working mobile suit of this kind is not possible. Still if in the future a giant mech with the mobility shown in games and movies was possible a single mech unit could most likely alone devastate a whole armored divizion that is being used today on it's own.
