Hey folks-
I'm running the latest version of Internet Explorer on a newer laptop. I've had some trouble with the fonts being tiny, so I selected the page option for font size = largest. That didn't help much, so I zoomed in. The fonts get larger, but on certain pages with the zoom above normal, the sites will shift far to the right of the center of the screen, and I constantly have to scroll over. Any ideas on how to solve this?

Just out of curiousity, does anyone in particular read this? I mean, the title still reads "2006." Just curious.

Not enough, says I. Here's the skinny. The more games that come out, the more ideas that are pumped out there. Maybe some are good. Probably most aren't. But even from the ones that aren't any good, developers have the potential to learn what worked and what didn't in order to craft a better game. Of course, that's theoretical - not every game is going to be the next step in the evolutionary gene pool. But that's my basic idea, anyways.

There was an FMV adventure game produced by MTV back in the mid-nineties called Club Dead (Club Dread, maybe?).The voice actingwas awful. I mean, stunningly awful. So much so that it was worth it, simply for the camp factor.

Fuzion Frenzy 2, Rayman, and Mini-Golf are all a blast when you're blitzed.  Actually, those games should only be played when you're drunk.

Oblivion is definitely worth it, but you can't go wrong either way.  With Oblivion, you could probably focus solely on the main quest and rip through the game during a weekend.  And hey, if you enjoy it, you can always buy it later.

I don't know about old-school martial arts, but Tony Jaa's Protector and Ong-Bak are awesome.  I also loved Fearless, Kill Bill, and Unleashed.

Gnarles Barkley - Crazy
Red Hot Chili Peppers - Dani California (sp?)
50 Cent - In Da Club
Justin Timberlake - SexyBack
Macho Man Randy Savage - Be a Man, Hogan!

Full Throttle, Wing Commander, Final Fantasy, and Soul Blade all had amazing cinematics.
