She talks a good game but I doubt she has any idea of how to correct America's horribly awry educational institution. I do sympathize with anyone who was like me though, learning what they were interested in rather than doing what they were supposed to be doing. I was busy failing Spanish while I was learning Japanese, I was busy reading literary classics while the people around me were struggling through the dumbed down version of Hamlet.
People, in restaurants or at home, tend to be generally stupid with food, you can't leave meats or dairy or eggs sitting out all day and expect not to get sick.
I found it very easy to learn how to write. You just have to accept that any non-Latin based language is going to be harder to learn and then your mind takes it in easier. The western alphabets are drilled into us, so when things like the kana and kanji are introduced to us it blows our minds, moreso the kanji than the kana.
Yes I'm for it. It's not like it's punishing people for being successful if we let these expire. The notion that if the wealthy have more money they'll put more money back into the economy is ridiculous. Reaganomics dude! Psh.
Unless you completely turned the guy off then you don't need to do **** to get another date. I understand how the dynamic is changing though.
Uh... he wasn't the only one who contributed to his death.cyberdarkkidHe sparked the chain of events though did he not?
Well no one wants to be bored and I think that's the bottom line when it comes to relationships. You want someone who is going to be able to get you excited or surprise you in many aspects of life. But it's hard to draw a line at what is ok and what isn't. When you get sucked into something it's usually when you get hurt severely. I've had plenty of bad relationships and friendships. I think people in general just want to be with the person who gives them the most attention whether it be positive or negative. There'a a difference between being passive and being nice. There's nothing wrong with being kind and respectful but it's also important to be assertive and I think sometimes that's the problem for nice guys. Another part of it I would think is that women in general have been conditioned to find that 'bad boy' type of guy more attractive and once you're sucked into a relationship it's hard to realize how bad it is until you're out.

[QUOTE="Tiefster"][QUOTE="TacticaI"]I agree. I would have preferred to live in the middle ages.TacticaIWhere you lived under the constant threat of losing everything 24/7 until the day you died? Not to mention the filth bleh. It's funny how I could have said just about any past time period and it wouldn't have made a bit of difference. Yeah pretty much. The 20th century is really when security and safety developed and we still worry about it. At least we can sleep at night and not be too worried about our horses and other livestock being stolen while we're dreaming...well most of us anyway.
