Love scenes in movies.

I'm talking bout those sex scenes in movies where they show no nudity. Just two people lying in bed under a sheet breathing heavily into each others face. Usually some cheesy song playing in the background and they skip clips like showing their faces up close then zooms out then show dumb body parts like their ankles, who the heck cares. O and some dim lighting with maybe some candles in the back.

I wonder why the hell do they add these scenes in movies???

What are your thoughts on these scenes. Do you hate them, like them, indifferent???

I don't mind them. They're less awkward when watching movies with friends/family.

What I hate is your watching a movie and someone walks in on just that scene. Family or friend. Half the time you pause it and you end up right on the most sexually explicit scene. Than they look at you like o really now and you have to explain to them what you are watching. Why must it be so difficult! =otestfactor888

It is and then it puts you in an werid situation. When they had a love scene it would be so embrassing and awkard when your watching it with your parents/friends

I dislike how it can get awkward very quickly, depending on the circumstances.

Most of them are pointless.

even though they make me want to gag, its sometimes funny watching granny's trying to cover up their grandchildren's eyes :D

Many of the shows I watch on HBO have unnecessary explicit sex scenes so I'm kind of immune to them at this point.. Watching them with family is always slightly awkward and funny.PerfectCircles

I remember saying "This is so lame I can just go watch porn". Personally though it doesn't matter to me. sometimes it benefits the story other times it doesn't, but it doesn't make me feel awkward or anything so it doesn't really bother me at all.
