Due to an abundant of irritating issues: DRM, Day-one downloadable content, on-disc downloadable content, microtransactions, abysmal ending, single-player relying on multiplayer...I could go on...
It's all about the money, now, when will it be about the customer?
@Commander_Snowy Companies, such as this one, want to branch out from their comfort zone. At least, that's how I feel.
I don't, quite, understand why the inclusion of a multi-player component feels necessary at this point. To me, every-time I start a game with multi-player: it feels so stale, lifeless, and well...boring.
If game companies stopped working on multiplayer projects, and focused entirely on single-player: imagine the potential.
I'd rather Battlefront III never be released, than EA taking LucasArts and adding Battlefront III to the growing "series-we-have-intentionally-ruined" list.
...I wish I was there to give them the Golden Poo award.
I miss the days when you purchased a title, you received the entire game.
...AND if you wanted to expand the longevity of the game, there were REASONABLY PRICED expansion packs that came out at reasonable dates.
I'm not going to spend one of my, hard-earned, dollars on crap avatar items or stupid background themes. Come on, I use the internet for that, and the best part? It's free.
Although, the word free is another topic, or debate, in itself.
Although, to be honest, I had to see them jumping on the bandwagon sooner or later.
I hate trying to condense how I really feel on topics such as these. Because how I really feel on this topic could go on..and on..and on..
Way to get on the consumer's good side, Bethesda.
Keep up the good, scratch that, horrible, work.

UPDATE: Companies should focus more on CRM (customer-relations management) than DRM, Day-one DLC...
