I'd rather have a Nuka Cola than this weak ass, bottled horse piss. Hell, they could've teamed up with the guys behind Irn-Bru, and let us yanks taste the Scottish Goodness.
@Robboninja: As an American, I feel the "national" brands of my country to be utter horse piss. I'll stick to non-alcoholic if all that is available, is Miller and Budweiser.
I would say they can influence a person. Granted, there's a line between being a rational person that may drive faster or more aggressive after playing GTA or Forza, and the maniac that decides to shoot up a school or business.
I remember after playing Midnight Club LA, I wanted to push the limits of the POS Nissan Sentra I was driving at the time, on a road I took to work. Ironically, playing the WRC games have given me a love for the WRX, which I still do not own.
Way how games have influenced me? I've looked into the history and lore of the stories presented. The historical figures of the Assassins Creed games. The mythology behind the latest Tomb Raider sent me off on a Bing search of Yamatai and the Oni. As a writer, it expands my focus and provides inspiration. Even the fictional settings are interesting, as a lot of them are inspired by real world mythology.
@victorhenley @blackmoes This. It's what I asked my fanboy friend who's spouting the same lines. I'm going to sit through a 2-hour movie if it bores the hell out of me 10-minutes into it.
