Some people make me laugh. To attack a woman for bringing up a valid point is beyond childish. I'm sorry, but sometimes people look for the story and don't want to deal with the battle. Others want the action and not the drawn out cut scenes and dialogues. One of the reasons I shy away from the JRPGs. I really do not feel like spending 30-minutes watching a cut scene. I'll watch TV for that. On the other hand, there are times I really do not want to sift through the dialogue again. One good example is Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I'm sorry, but the characters are lifeless and the devs have done little to give me any reason why I should give a rat's tale about them. I also admit that while I read Atlas Shrugged, and enjoyed it, I found the Galt's speech to be very winded and ended up skimming through it. Difference between me and the troglodytes that insulted this poor woman, is that I'm not going to make it a mission to attack a person. I don't like their point, I note it and move on with my business.

In regards to the rumor about NT designer, Dave Cutler, being brought in with the "possibility" of extending the XBox beyond a gaming system. Here's the deal - I don't want a multimedia platform that will allow me to make videos, play the stupid *insert whatever retarded theme*ville games on Facebook, or get a workout trying to play a shooter. I want to relax. I want to kill things. I want peace. If I wanted that bullcrap, I'd buy a Mac or a new PC.

Unless we're going to have something on the level of the Holoband from the show Caprica, I'm not expecting anything spectacular. While I use Steam and GameSpy's service, I still have to wait until it downloads. If one takes into account that some installs on the 360 push 10 gigs, that's going to take a while. The benefit is it'll offer a lot of the Indie developers a chance, but most of the "Indie" I have purchased off Steam weren't purchased at a reduced rate as they were no where near worth $50.00. If I'm going to have to maintain an active web connection, purchase it on-line, and then wait while it downloads, I'm going to demand a lower price for it. Then again, very few titles are any good anymore, so perhaps this will give me an opportunity to find more constructive hobbies to spend my cash on.
