MS put a limit to how many achievements a 3rd party game could have. I'm pretty sure it's 50 achievements @ 1250 points. Where a title may ship with less than 1000 achievements, but must give 1000 points worth of achievements through free updates, and an optional extra 250 points which may or may not be at cost to the consumer.

Alright so I'm gonna get buy 1400 points to d/load Geo Wars 2, and that leaves me with 600 points left. What is the best XBLA game / game addon I can get for that price? Thx in advance

I'm really surprised at how close the poll is. It's a three way poll with 374 votes, and still the difference between first and last place is 4 votes. Anyway,

How can anyone say the PS3 is a flop....it's still selling rather well and Sony still supports it...

ogvampire

all 'flop' means is that it didnt meet expectations

between the GC and the ps3, i would say that the ps3 was the one that least meet its expectations

Yes. That is exactly the point I'm trying to make. The PS3 simply did not meet its expectations. Though, not because the PS3 is bad, but because the expectations were unrealistic.

I see "flop" as more of a letdown and not a sign of mediocrity. While both systems are great, the expectations for the PS3 were just too high. The Gamecube wasn't expected to do much. I mean, it lost the previous console war BY A MASSIVE MARGIN even though it went with it's "superior" 64-bit graphics. So when the Cube sold a fraction of the PS2's sales, we all said "meh, maybe next time Nintendo." However, living up to 120 million sales is just about impossible, and that fact is made to look even bigger than it actually is because the PS3 is dead last in terms of sales. In the end, the PS3 is the bigger flop. Not a flop as a result of it being a bad console, but instead as a result of it not being able to live up to the unrealistic expectations of MANY PS2 owners.

I have a bet that RE5 will score less than 9, and my friend bet over 9. Tie if it gets 9 (from GS).

[QUOTE="TKandPBC"]COD2 was a little harder than COD5, and it still was pretty easy as long as you took it slow. I believe you were dead in 3 consecutive machine gun shots, or 2 shotgun shots. You see a grenade? Fall back. Stay behind cover (which can be a ***** because there's no cover button like R6V or GoW) and snipe with a shotgun. Then rush with a Thompson. Rise, Repeat. Well, at least that's how it is in COD2. Conroi58
I found 2 a lot easier than 5, I beat 2 in one day. 5 wouldn't be very hard if you weren't circled by grenades. I just wish they would make Veteran more difficult in another way. Out of the CODs i've played I'd say 2 was the easiest and then 4 and then 5's the hardest and I don't remember the original COD to well so I'm not going to put it but they are all really hard.

Wow, I would rank it 4 as the easiest then 5 and then 2. But, to each man his own, I guess.

Sticky Shocker > Cardboard Box The realism in SP is simply outstanding, and SC3 was arguably the best XBOX1 game. And Sam Fisher can do some of the most amazing things ever seen in a stealth game. MGS is a great series, but from a stealth/espionage perspective, SC is the hands down winner. Unfortunately, I don't think SC5 will live up to the SC name (though SC4 just barely did). Too much change IMO.

I was planning on investing, but now I'm not so sure. Are there really big EA games coming out in the next year?
