@Vatusus: Spending hours and hours in the public zones of Destiny is what I loved the most. Wasn't planning on getting D2 but they really are tempting me mighty the more I see.
I've always felt that HG would be well regarded in the long run and updates like this give me confidence I was correct. Without a doubt the launch of NMS is historic for all the news and fuss, but 10 years from now if they are still going strong that controversy is not going to be the measure they are judged by.
The sad thing is, the family sharing plan did not allow you to buy a game and grant 10 of your friends the right to play it. What it did was allow you to buy a game, and allow 10 of your friends to play a time limited demo of the game you purchased, before being prompted to pay for the full game themselves.
Everyone seems to think they would buy a game and 10 of thier friends could play it for free. That is not how it was written to work, that's just what people are hoping it will do. The reality is considerably more dissapointing. It was nothing more than a marketing gimmick to sell more games.
