@McStrongfast: The article is a great read. I really liked the part about how doctors treated the illness. Doctors don't cure your actual illness, but rather your symptoms. Doctors prescribe medications that only subside the actual symptoms. There is no miracle pill that actually *cures*. The brighter side to all of this however is that usually people that have dealt with issues tend to be more down to earth and likable. This is just an opinion though, there are nice people all over that are willing to help. The people that have a book written on their face and have stories however seem to cherish life a bit more:).
@RogerioFM: So in your mind....speaking the truth = behaving like an idiot? There is a much deeper root here that a lot of people are not understanding. EA paying people to lie to your face is ok? ... Weird mind frame, but to each their own I suppose.
@RogerioFM: Um..no...not exactly. What is rude and unprofessional is not having enough confidence in your own product that you have to resort to such tactics. You may not be forced to like anything, however to the every day average joe, they would have ate the marketing right up had Ben taken the deal. People/rabid fans want to be just like their idol and in return, want to do/own stuff that they do. This is how the mind works for a good majority of people. Companies fester on this corruption. You shouldn't feel sorry for EA at all, if anything you should be disgusted by this.
@SiNoNaX: I disagree. I believe that it was the best move that he could have made. This should bring how corrupted certain things are to the fore-front. A direct response would not have gotten any attention. This may at least open certain peoples eyes and minds.
@sketchy_llama: This is the point though. There really are people out there that are that dumb and believe the mumbo jumbo. This is how the world functions for a good majority of people. People don't think, or they want to be a fan, or whatever. This is how the world mostly works. Corrupted.
Welcome to the land of the corrupt, where nothing comes honestly and opinions can be bought. There is nothing new here however. This is just the sad state that we happen to find ourselves in now days. The scary part about all of this is the fact that there are people out there that fall for this type of marketing all of the time. People look up to certain people and they will listen to everything that comes out of these peoples mouths without even double thinking.
The one thing that I am glad to see is that not everyone can be paid off.
I happen to enjoy the game and am continuing to do so. The point is though..is that this all sounds crooked as s...
So..in other words, this reviewer believes that this is nearly as great as The Witcher 3? or MGS5? I understand that reviews are meant to be opinion based in nature, however I will have to check out other reviews. I have seen some gameplay and the AI still seems like every other AC game. The enemies wait one by one to attack, plus other numerous issues.
I don't specifically care what the score is regardless, I am just finding it a little hard to believe that this is worthy of a rating of 9. I mean, I may pick it up and I will bite my tongue if this is as good as the reviewer is leading us to believe. My thoughts are that it is more than likely a 7ish-8ish however.
One way or another, I don't watch scores as much as a lot of people, I mostly just care about if I can play the damn game and have an enjoyable experience/story without having bugs that take me out of the experience like faulty ai, weird glitches, etc. I am sure that you can understand why I am hesitant about the review after getting taken by *Unity*.
Anyway, hey, to each their own. This is what opinions are about:).
I am ready:). The first thing that pops in my head when a new Star Wars is coming out: WOOT, this is going to be epic:). The problem occurs though when I begin to think about the movie theater lol. The random lady that decided to bring her two year old to a midnight showing, The weird bigger guy that seems to get food every place but in his own mouth, The people that just decide to plop down on the aisle way because they over sold tickets, let us not forget the line that wraps around the building lol.
Always an interesting experience to say the least :). I will probably huff it though and go see it anyway lol. Almost reminds me of the Vegas line though: What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.
