I can never understand why so many people get bent out of shape over a review ;o. I swear some of you think it is the end of the world if a review gives a low-moderate score. The game got a 6..which is about average. This reviewer believes that Alien: Isolation is not super great but not the worst game neither.

A review is there to inform you of info on a purchase before you spend your money. Some of you however I think believe that it is there to backup your personal thoughts which it is not. This review gave me a general idea on the game and if I value it enough for a purchase even though it has a few lurking problems and from the sounds of It, a slow pace at some points. This has informed me that the game is decent, however at the price they are asking I do not value it that high so I will wait for a sale and pick It up.

Now on the opposite side, some of you may look at this review and see that it has problems but you can justify spending the money at full price to pick it up which is fine. Reviews are meant to give a general consensus and a personal view point. They are not meant to justify your thoughts and agree with your mindset. Remember that.

@k9kal85 @Snowx1 You are talking about something that really does not matter what website you go to for a review. Reviews are opinions and everyone is going to give their *personal* expectation. When you review something you can't really give a review tha fits everyone's taste:). I guess to each their own however.

@k9kal85 @Snowx1 I usually check out a variety of sites when I am going to spend money to buy a game. I do tend to stick with Gamespots reviews however because of their brutal honesty. The reviewers tend to give that *about right* score over other gaming websites. They don't tend to fluff the score for the most part.

Let me be the first to say.........NOOOoooOOooooooooOOoooo.... They messed up another potentially good Alien game =/. I will still pick this up but will wait for a sale now. Damn, had so much hope that this would turn out good. I guess that I am not too surprised however.

I am happy to see that this seems to be a decent LOTR game:). The only concern that I have is that I have never been a big AC fan besides the first two. I hope that what this game borrows from AC does not just make this feel like a re-skinned AC. Regardless, looks and sounds decent enough to pick up and when most games are a whopping $60 it is nice to see the going rate for this at $50. Good start heading into a decent month for gamers -_-. Probably end up broke by the end of October lol.

Great episode:). I am 27 myself and have seen games go through such dramatic transformation that it is honestly mind boggling. I remember the first PC game that I played was something to do with controlling a rabbit ( Might have been who framed roger rabbit) lol. I cant remember offhand but I remember feeling that this was epic :D (This is probably what drove me to start up building my own PC's actually). I never got into actual gaming until the Super Nintendo came out however and I remember watching my bro beat one of the bosses on some game. The first game I actually remember beating was Zelda: A Link To The Past :).

I guess to get back on point however is that yes, there is a generational divide between gamers. I believe and go along with what is being said about how everyone remembers different points in gaming very fondly. I am somewhere in the medium ground as far as gamer age goes because I know people that game in their 40's and beyond lol. Gamers like me look at Destiny and see a run of the mill shooter with above average gameplay. We are also the crowd that is looking for gaming to grow because it always has. This is probably why I am so excited for VR (Virtual Reality) because it is a new frontier in gaming for most of us older crowd:).

Gosh I hope they keep this first person view. The first person view makes it a lot more tense. I could see maybe the story bits being 3rd person. The talking/cut scenes would be fine for 3rd person but man.. the first person gameplay would be epic.

@Weaponn_X I am with you on that. I thought it was going to be one of those *pick it up when it goes on sale* type games. This actually has me more curious now left with some questions. Worth keeping an eye on.

I have always been a Final Fantasy fan going all the way back to the first one that I played on the Super Nintendo which was FF3. I am intrigued by the surreal graphics for sure but I am more curious on how the story will play out. I remember reading an interview somewhere back when about how the story in FF15 could be inspired by an rendition of Hamlet which could be interesting. I don't know a lot about Hamlet, (never been a drama-Shakespeare type), however I guess the main character is one of the hardest characters to define as far as plays/Shakespeare work goes. The story itself is not bad but a tad basic for me. If any of this rings true than this could be a pretty dark Final Fantasy which in turns leads to an interesting turn.

As far as I can see however from the new trailer is that all of the characters seem to have perfect looks lol, ( nothing new with Final Fantasy in general). The dialog seems cheesy going from the one guy stating the obvious about the monsters face lol. The gameplay seems interesting enough however and I hope the dialog is a tad better than what I have been seeing. I do wish that one of these days Final Fantasy would have some more *unique* heroes instead of the A-typical perfect looks and spike/emo hair what not. Maybe toss a beer drinking main character in there instead lol. I guess something more realistic. The game looks good and will probably be alright. Another one of those wait and see type games.

This looks more like survival than horror, still looks pretty intense however and worth a pick up:). I am certainly curious about how advanced the alien A.I. will be. This alone gives a good reason to pick it up:). Horror to me is like the P.T. demo where it gives you a w.t.f feeling and just a strange vibe in general. I could be completely wrong however and this could be scary. Only time will tell.

There is one thing I do know however, this has got to be better than the *Alien game which shall not be named* lol.
