lol, who complains and gets offended about this? I could see if it got out of hand and people started tossing money..erm wait. I better not go down that road. I mean.. still though? Why complain about this? Looks pretty casual to me compared to some places that you can visit haha.

The whole last part of this season has been filled with all amazing episodes to be honest. I really hope that they keep up this type of momentum going into the next season. They have almost the perfect blend going.

...About all I can say is that I am glad that I was born in the 80's. -_-.....This is what the new age finds to be entertainment? Plus they want to charge you $10 a month? lol. No disrespect for the guy or anything (Clearly he is doing an amazing job at making a paycheck)..but damn.. No thanks. I am clearly out of the loop on whatever this new thing is lol.

Edit: Great subliminal messaging around the ten minute mark (10:07-10:09) with the lady in the hallway whispering *subscribe* LOL. Funny stuff. I am not one who believes in all of that hog wash, but still.. weird.

...This is nothing compared to the glitches/hacks on the PC version. I have seen everything from people with unlimited health, all the way to people that were floating above the ground levitating. The game in general seems to be alright, however they lost a sale from me for awhile until they are confident that they can get a lot of these issues worked out.

You may say: Well you don't have to go into the Dark Zone to enjoy the game, but part of the appeal to me in general was the Dark Zone. I understand that the Dark Zone is supposed to be a terrifying place and your safety is supposed to be questioned at all times, however I am fairly sure that what we have now is more leaning towards a Twilight Zone with all the weird shit that players can hack and do.

Anyway, maybe it is because it is beta and hopefully a lot of the issues will be resolved, but I have a feeling that this should be a wait and see. Give it a month to let them fix half of the issues.

@GoldenElementXL: You are underestimating how difficult it is to review something like this. I don't know how to explain it in words that make sense. You can't look at this through the same eye as you look at say, a game like Call of Duty.

You have a game like Call of Duty where at the end of the day it is just a bunch of made up random nonsense that has almost no basis in reality and than you have something like this where the whole concept was built around the struggle to cope and hopefully find a light at the end of the tunnel with something that is very real and affects tons of people everyday in real life.

I was watching a let's play on Kind of funny games and you can tell that the father and everyone else that helped build this really poured their heart into creating this. The emotions are very real. The game may lack fluid controls and have a few glitches, but overall it really hits you hard If you have ever been in a similar circumstance in life. The questions about a higher power looking over you and the situation where other people have gone through the same thing but couldn't pull through but you believe that your child will be different and pull through. The questions you ask yourself after you find out the timeframe of life left like what you can still do in life while you have it to live. I think that it got what it deserved as far as a review goes.

I don't mean to sound like I am calling you out or anything. I am just trying to give a reason on why the scores are so different and why games can never be looked at as kind of the same since every game is unique and some experiences may not have the best gameplay, but they tell a very real story and do it well. I may have failed completely at explaining. I don't know. I just wanted to try and help answer what you was looking for.

There are going to be people that say ohh..this is not a game and this sucks, yada yada...most likely a younger crowd...I would feel bad for you if you are over 25 and don't see the value of why the review is what it is. Maybe it just takes a certain kind of person to understand the value of something like this, or perhaps maybe you just have had to go through certain circumstances in life to really grasp the meaning.

Anyway, sorry for the long reply. I hope that I have helped you a bit in your thinking.

@justinofclark: Thank you, I retract my comment made above:). Good to hear and read. Perhaps in special cases like this, this information should have been added onto a separate part of the review. Perhaps I should have done a bit more research as well. I would suggest a description on the steam page as well as to not have people jump to conclusions like which happened in my case.

.I believe that I may have a slightly different opinion than most people do on this product. I believe that it was made with the best intent and as far as I am aware, it was made with the up most respect for people going through any similar situation or have gone through any type of situation of this magnitude.

Edit: Follow link to find out where a portion of the proceeds will go: (Mind my ignorant comment made before). I do apologize. http://www.gamasutra.com/view/news/263424/Portion_of_That_Dragon_Cancers_sales_proceeds_going_to_charity.php

On the other side of the coin however, and my other mind frame and thinking is this: There is, and never will be an actual cure to anything. There will always be pills and *reliefs* so to speak created, but never an actual cure to anything. Whoever creates and thinks up all of these pills and relief would never allow that because they would be out of business. Greed makes the world work and as long as we have people that believe in that piece of paper we call the $1.00, than we will never have actual cures.

Anyway, to bring this all back together, I am happy that this piece of art was created and if it helps even just one person to deal with this type of circumstance in life than it has done the job that it has set out to do :). The gaming medium is a good place to create these sort of personal experiences that movies and any other medium really can't convey as well.

Star Wars: The Force Awakens is beyond amazing in my opinion. The only problem that I had with it was that the pacing felt a bit too brisk. I felt that there was a lot to take in and understand and not fully explained as well as I had hoped. I imagine a lot of this they are saving for the next few parts like episode VIII and beyond. Overall though, best film of the year :).
