I'm no fan of this crap either, but looking at some of these hateful, racist comments it seems some have fallen for the propaganda of western society.

You're truly living in a dreamworld if you believe things like conditioning people through media only happen in the scary eastern part of the planet.

VG Music is some of the best. Far too underrated.

Yet another reason not to buy the Xbox One I guess (and yes I know they reverted all their other crap policies, but the fact that they just tried to do b.s like mandatory cameras and insane DRM is a reason on its own not to buy the Xbone)

People dont buy consoles to use a mouse/keyboard, yes m/k is alot more accurate and has faster response time, thus great at FPS, but even so there are reasons why people choose gamepads instead. I'm not trying to put down the idea, as long as the option to use M/K is strictly optional and not mandatory I think it's great, but mainly when it comes to playing online anyone who chooses to game with a controller, the console's intended control system, will be left at a disadvantage.

Honestly, it makes the most sense to just game on PC when using M/K anyway. Leave the consoles alone.

@mr_squibble Agreed, I like GTA and understand their stereotype art styles, but this one really bugged me because it is a (really bad) representation of gamers, which involves everyone buying the game. It's like they're advertising that sh***y stereotypical personality, and anyone who buys it is or will be like that.

And yeah that's may be what a character is like in-game, but lmao those who dont play the game or game at all arent gonna know that. If RS really wanted to promote that character's personality couldnt they choose a different scenario? It had to be some slob sitting in his room all day playing video games, treating his girlfriend like crap? I think gamers have bad enough stereotypes as it is, giving more ammunition for those who use actually that against us (especially those of us who buy/spend alot of time playing GTAV) doesn't help.

I love Killzone (except maybe the way the story ended up, but still like it) but my excitement for the game literally just died when I heard about this.

I'm getting fed the hell up with paying for the game - after paying for the game. Looks like bargain bin or complete edition for me.

Idc as long as there's an alternative way in-game to getting said DLC. Like this article mentioned the BF3 "shortcut" kits, not something where you have to pay even more to get content that should (or already is as LDC/Locked Disc Content) in-game)

Btw Kinect is no longer "mandatory" but since the camera comes with the 'box whether we like it or not I'm sure MS will try to implement it to its fullest extent.(since everyone gets one, there's no reason for them not to)

Think about at launch or later down the road how many features you will or wont be able to do WITHOUT the camera plugged in. I think it'd be like playing without an internet connection, its not required, but you'd be missing out on alot.

One way or another, they'll create all these shortcuts to get what they want.

It's great that they're reverting idiotic polices, but honestly I dont care anymore. Even if (I think) they removed all the BS on the Xbox One...I still wont buy it.

Its not just about the features, etc , it's that MS have actually tried to pull all that shit we all hated in the first place. And mandatory camera's, 24-hour internet parole check in's, insane DRM, digital-only games, etc is probably where MS will head anyways if people support them. Actually looking at the title of the article lmao they pretty much confirmed it

And not only that, but looking at MS's connection with the spy-happy NSA makes me wonder why the Kinect was "mandatory" in the first place, along with those other policies.

@canelacandy @Sn0wGl0be There is a limit for how long you can be in "offline mode" before needing to connect online again, and even while offline the service doesnt always work so well.

However I heard the limit itself is different for some ppl, from two weeks up to two years.

Either way, my point is Steam is still DRM. And if people hate DRM then the "steam-box" wont be any different. Probably not as extreme as what MS was going to do with the Xbone, but the same idea.
