@marcheegsr @jdfan56k

Yeah I'll definitely make sure it comes with a warranty. I might even get an extended warranty if the price is reasonable.

Thanks for the replies guys!

I was considering buying one new but here in Canada they're still around $500 and the cheapest one (the Assassin's Creed bundle minus Kinect) is $400, but out of stock in all stores where I live. I could order one online from either Canada or the U.S but after the shipping and handling, taxes, and exchange rate on our currently dreadful Canadian dollar, the price still ends up around $450-$550.

So I think I'll go with the refurbished model. I was concerned at first since it could have been refurbished from a major problem, but even so you guys are right...There's higher risk with a used console that has no warranty at all and who-knows-what condition it's really in.

Thanks! Free music for all!

Hey guys if you had a choice between buying a Refurbished or Used Xbox One for the same price ($350), which would you go for? I've been looking into this and there seem to be plenty of pros/cons for each.

In my case the seller of the used Xbox One says it's only been used a couple of times (but obviously there's no way of knowing) and it comes with an extra controller and 5 games. The Refurb comes with 3 games (2 are digital) and a one-year warranty.

My guesstimate is that the Refurbished MIGHT be a little more safer since, unlike the 360, it hasn't been out for so long so there's less chance the console was Refurbished from major technical issues. But again there's no way of knowing.

I never bought a Refurbished Xbox (or anything) in my life before so if anyone has, please give your opinion.

Thanks.

I know its technically "multiplayer only", but is staying dependent on other players a requirement, or can you play this game solo with and against bots? And if so, can you earn xp that way?

I.e like the game Enemy Territory: Quake Wars or Shadowrun.

Hello, I havent bought the game yet but I was just wondering for someone who wont dedicate all their gaming time to BF4, is it really worth getting the DLC's for this game? (on PS4)

I ask because of my experience with BF3 (on PS3)....I pre-ordered the game and have played it since launch but waited a little while after the Premium Edition was released to play the DLC's. Sadly shortly after that time I found that a number of servers (both official and unofficial) for certain maps and game modes on the PS3 are left empty, or low on players most of the time which is kinda an issue on bigger maps. It usually takes awhile if at all for those select maps/game modes have enough people join for a decent game.

I'm sure the DLC maps themselves for BF4 are worth it, but my main concern is that by the time BF4 Premium Edition rolls out it'll be the same issue.....there wont be a sufficient amount of players interested in playing all game modes on all DLC and vanilla maps, especially with the 64 player count. This is especially troubling if certain DLC's will be left largely abandoned, like BF3's Aftermath maps.

Like I said I wont be playing BF4 all the time, I'll probably take time off from it for a few months every so often. That said, I'm not the best player (it takes longer for my to unlock stuff) and on top of that I tend to take my time experimenting with different loadouts before using the things I do unlock right away (Been playing BF3 since released and still havent used/unlocked everything, though a part of that probably has to do with the learning curve).

So idk....I wont be playing BF4 until probably April or May and I was hoping to do the same with the DLC's as I did with BF3 (wait for Premium Edition). But if the only true way to experience all of BF4's maps, game modes, and experiment with various loadouts to their fullest extent is to play non-stop from the time the Premium Edition comes out, then for me that's just not possible and I'll probably have to stick with the vanilla maps. Hoping I'm wrong though, :P

Hello all, I was just wondering which edition of Splnter Cell Blacklist (for the PC) is the best deal? I was thinking the Digital Deluxe but I'm not too sure. And by "best deal" pricing isn't too much of an issue as much as getting all content, include all the Pre-Order DLC and DLC's from other editions (in short EVERYTHING or almost everything), in one convenient package. :P

Also how is the PC (Steam) version of Blacklist? I have a chance to get the PC version of the game (I already have the console version) but heard not-so-great things about the PC ports of Ubisoft games.

Thanks.

Thanks for the link!

I started following that guide but got stumped on step 2, as the hex editor program I was using (HxD) couldnt find anything like the example save he put (" S.a.v.e. .6.8.3. .-. .V.a.l.s.e.,. .E.n.g.i.n.e.e.r.i.n.g. .C.o.r.e.,. .0.1.5...3.1...5.4 ").

The save file I'm trying to convert is " Save 289 Pat Mojave Wasteland 72 ", and The closest line (was actually two lines in the program) I could find to the file name is- " ...|..|Pat|..|Saint|....|..|Mojave Wasteland|..|072.40.34|...... "

though I'm not sure if that's the correct file or what to do if it is. (there were a couple others that actually said save game like Savegame.dat but still idk if they're the correct line.)

I also tried to simply change the game save extension to .fos (what the PC New Vegas save extensions are) and copied it over, but it showed up as "corrupt" in the game menu.

Hello, I'm looking to convert my Xbox 360 New Vegas save to a PC save (just converting, without altering them), and probably vice-versa. I know that this is possible, but I have no idea where to begin. I checked out some tutorials online but each seems to differ from the other, so I thought it'd be best to hear from the community. I'm also not much of a modder so the "easy" tutorials tend to lose me on all the modding lingo. :P

Note: All the DLC content I have on the Xbox save I also have on the PC version.
