Oh but it was fun! Jo did this scavenger hunt thing that gave us the letters in POTTERMORE and then more owls keep appearing on Youtube and all the HP fangirls are having flashbacks to when the books were still coming out and :3

[QUOTE="martinX3X"][QUOTE="Bloodseeker23"][QUOTE="chaoscougar1"] Yeah, but Sam never left him until Frodo told him to go

Ron left Harry during the quest for all the horcrux. He did came back to save Harry, but he still did forsake his friend (thought that was because of the stupid necklace). But Ron was also jealous of harry for quite some time, during the goblet of fire. But yeah...

oh jeez i totally forgot about book 7. your right Samwise wins hands down xD

Yeah Ron isn't perfect, but that is what makes him interesting. He had his own demons to overcome in order to play his part. Which he does. He's there when it counts. Also, Ron and Harry have a more lasting relationship than Sam and Frodo... the latter split up but Harry and Ron are bros for life. :P

I don't know what it will be, but I'm super excited! But honestly J.K. Rowling could release her dry cleaning receipts and I'd be hanging on every word. :P

I have been reading the books since 2004, and I think my non-reader friends really enjoyed having me walk them through and explain backstory, because the show IS very complicated and there are a LOT of names to remember. :P Really enjoyed the series and am looking forward to season 2. Will miss Jon Snow on my TV every Sunday, I was smitten. :P

[QUOTE="Celldrax"]Omni-Slash
nice pic....I've actually run into that twice..("I don't need a man to help me open the door")..the first time I just ignored the *****...the second time someone did that I just told her that I didn't even realize she was a girl.........

Jeremy you know we have gotten along for a long time and I am not trying to attack you personally, but this is another attitude that demonstrates unequal attitudes in between men and women. I am not saying the women acted correctly in this situation, but the attitude that if a woman doesn't respond positively to male acts or advances, she's a ***** or unfeminine... it's problematic.

[QUOTE="SkylinePigeon"]That logic makes no sense. Men choose how men act. The fact that men are trying to blame their personal flaws on women are further proof of the unequal attitudes that feminists are trying to combat.airshocker

When was being chivalrous considered a flaw...?

I never said that? OP seems to be blaming his lack of chivalrous behavior on women. If he views that as a bad thing and thinks he SHOULD be chivalrous, then it is a flaw (in his eyes). Personally I have no opinion on whether that is a flaw or not. But I think men and women should try to have manners in their interactions with others regardless of gender. It's just polite.

I lol'd. The logic of the OP really amuses me. :P

actually a lot of the reason chivalry is considered dead is because of feminists who take things too far. Not saying feminists are actually keeping men from being chivalrous, but a large part of where the fault lies for said mentality is with the hardcore feminists.

That logic makes no sense. Men choose how men act. The fact that men are trying to blame their personal flaws on women are further proof of the unequal attitudes that feminists are trying to combat.
