I didn't expect graduation to mean a lot to me, but in the end I was sentimental about it and glad I did it. Up to you though, no one can make the decision for you, really.

I just beat Assassin's Creed Brotherhood tonight... no real spoilers, I promise! :) I LOVED the game. It's fantastic and has great moments. Ezio's story is incredibly compelling, and I think all of us who play the game like him as a character, and like following his story. I loved the Cristina missions in Brotherhood, and I think they were great for that. Exploring the reconstructed past is another huge draw.

To me, the game sort of jumps off the rails once Ezio recovers the Apple, and the Desmond sections make it worse, not better. I like setting it in the future and past simultaneously, and I think that could be really interesting. The idea of conflict between an evil corporation and the Assassins--AWESOME! While farfetched, these storylines have an element of reality to them. It's something that you can potentially believe. When the story gets mystical, it totally loses me. I HATE the weird alien Roman mythology gods/proto-humans/whatever they are. Does anyone really like them? I can't see the point. For a series that tries to be grounded in reality, and tries to take a fresh spin on history, these sections completely ruin that for me. What are your thoughts on the science-fiction elements of the series?

I LOVE that movie. It's totally, completely, 100% not factual. For a historical period drama, the history is about as bad as you can get. That doesn't keep it from being a really great movie, though. I'd guess that's where the debate comes from. :P

[QUOTE="airshocker"]

I'm not going to be interested if it's not dark and gritty and geared towards adults.

Kentisc

I agree, I don't want it to be too childish, it has to be challenging, with a somewhat dark background.

It would have to walk a line though, or it wouldn't be HP. That's part of the appeal, I think--the series tackles serious issues while still maintaining an air of whimsy and playfulness. Too serious wouldn't be right, and neither would too lighthearted.

Also, Harry Freakin Potter? Watch this, skip to 7:09. ;)

[QUOTE="Yagr_Zero"][QUOTE="SkylinePigeon"]It would be extremely dangerous for me so I hope they never make it. Because then I would never leave the house. :P And there are plenty of hardcore HP fans who want to be Hufflepuffs! My roommate is one, haha, and so is my mom, sister, and my best friend Matt. I am not one however. ROAR ROAR GRYFFINDOR! (I'm a nerd.)

You certainly are a nerd :P. I tested into Hufflepuff every time I took one of those quizzes. But yeah, I think the game would be a great idea if they can get it to work well enough.

YES you are totally a Hufflepuff! Hands down, no question. Hahaha. @tacticaldesire Krum went to Durmstrang. :) The French school was Beauxbatons, so you were very close, just missing the "s" ;)

Both reviewers from EGM gave it a 3.0. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan but it looks like this one's a stinker. Terrible collision detection from what I've been told. Play Lego Harry Potter instead, it's pretty great! It only covers years 1-4 so it doesn't get to DH yet, but its worth playing.

"Nightswimming" by R.E.M. is on the list, so I'm happy. :) Seriously though, 7 should have been #1. Nothing against pavement but... Holland 1945! Although I prefer the title track. :P
