Dude you cheap bastard. Yeah get everything for free. Servers cost money dude, having people doing maintenance cost money etc. Maybe your not to bright or your cheapness has damaged your ability think logically. I know from experience that shit aint cheap.
I was not that impressed with PS4 watching the streaming. Ok I have a X box 360 but I would consider myself a PC gamer no doubt and graphics is what I love to see. The titles all looked very cool and interesting to play but I did not feel the wow I got when Nintendo 64 came out, or PlayStation 2 or X box. Even the X box 360 was great, these games look like a PS3 or X box 360 game plus 20% more.
So I find myself waiting for the Xbox 720 and hoping to be not disappointed. I guess all it confirms is that these consoles are like a poor mans pc and that nothing can come close to pc gaming at the moment.
I played Rift and now Star wars, I stopped because of latency issues that I could not get resolved but it was a great game and the ONLY MMO I have seen where developers listen to the community with such passion and interest no one came close to that so far.
Those guys who did those personal attacks on Jennifer Hepler disgust me. I don't agree with her point but I respect it and get a sense she truly views her work as art which most passionate people in this industry do. You don't own Bioware , you don't spend countless hours and late nights trying to make a game perfect from artwork, dialogue, story to marketing. No one goes "Ok for the next 5600+ hours of our existence we are going to make the lamest game we could'. To you idiots who just don't get it, to you this is a game where you lose yourself for a few hours but for most of these game companies these games have been their lives for the last 2 years. Jesus christ at least respect that. +1000 Jennifer Hepler for having an opinion and making your voice heard.
