If M$ has made console gaming about paying for every damn thing you could possibly want to do with a console, then Apple will do exactly the same, stick and Apple logo on it, charge 200% more for its services, and still be "not quite as good"

That is so true and how long did they the RROD was within acceptable before they raised the warranty to three years that only covers this single problem and nothing else.

Another thing is Bill Gates has dropped from the richest man on earth to about the 5th within the past year or so. Then M$ has fallen from 11th place in company market shares down to around 70th in the past couple of years.

Well that last one is related. Bill left MS, so lost out on his directors salary which was huge, and the share price fell due to him leaving. I seriously doubt RROD could create such a drop in market confidence especially when the VG dep of MS is small and bearly makes a profit compared to the other areas. but it is a good point tho.
