People said Minecraft would fail because of the rough graphics. Boy, were they wrong. Same goes for Narbacular Drop and a few other indie titles that later became gaming phenomenons.
Just be a good parent and show your kids what the real world is. None of this "shielding' BS
And what exactly is the real world about? Shooting people for fun? Haha, this is kind of the problem with presenting violence to children at such an impressionable age.
Only around 1% of PC gamers can afford this card, so I'd hardly consider this a good thing for PC gaming. When is it going to be cost efficient to game on a PC? When I can purchase an entire nxt-gen system for half the price of a video card, I think it's safe to say that PC gaming is going to be an ultra-niche only open to rich people.
Played it earlier this year when it first went into open beta and was very impressed with it. Easily up there with Torchlight and Diablo in the ARPG realm.
Looks like PC and PS3 are the only platforms that still get high quality exclusives anymore, both with over 3 this year.
10-15 PC flops and then 1 AAAE. Unfortunately PC gets more garbage games then anything else. A nice gem like Path of Exile will pop up every now and then. I still would never make PC my primary platform. Too much of a headache. A nice distraction when it's working smoothly.
You're 100% correct. I have a gaming PC I rarely use, and if I do, the games are almost never working smoothly. These days they expect PC gamers to pick up the tab for development (aka Kickstarter and other crowd funding) then they charge them for an unfinished Alpha of the game and convert them into paying game testers. It's a disgrace, I just stick with console gaming until PC gaming sorts itself out.
lol and you say you've been pc gaming a long time when you admittedly said you have trouble running your games smoothly. Fraud confirmed! I have yet to run into a pc game I couldnt run properly. When I run into the rare occurence, I quickly find a hot fix and patch it up myself within 5-15 minutes. You sir, are a fake and a complete scrub when it comes to anything pc gaming related. Stick to consoles kid.

Triple-A would imply that it cost a lot of money to make the game and a third of the budget was in Marketing. That's simply not the case with PoE. It's a mediocre top-down dungeon crawler straight out of the 90's. If anyone is still playing hack-n-slash games I'm pretty sure they would rather play Diablo 3, regardless of how bad it is at least it's a true AAA game.
